I totally understand what he was saying about the gym and music. I feel like kpop in general focuses more on their beats almost the way an edm song would but it’s not always edm. I FRIGGIN RELATE with the gym thing lol I be running on the treadmill having cramps and sweating profusely but then they go "DASHI RUN RUN RUN" or if I hear J-Hope or Yoongi aggressively rapping its like a motivation to keep going. I think he’s partly talking about himself as a person and partly his job and his image as an idol. They weren’t angry at each other when they wrote this, they were just really struggling with all the fame and pressure and it was hard for them to remain happy.

The lyrics talk about how hurt the other members were. In the end they decided to just focus on taking care of each other and staying true to themselves.

actually that time was when their 7 years contract is almost come to the end. That's why they discussed a lot about continuing or disbanding. I can tell a part of their mind want all of this to the end . But the love they have on us ,ARMY and the music is so big that they are willing to have that pain.
