Well I am grateful for this tutorial. Not for the main solution (counting), but beside that I learned 3 important features I never thought are there. CTR+SHIFT+down arrow that it will jump to last cell of data. Than F4 to absolute reference the cell address. And than double click on a square dot to copy to the end of list ... and this already work in Excel 2003 ... how many hours I would save if I knew that 20 years ago, LOL. Manually referencing and manually selecting and copying all those years :) Thanks :)

I needed a small help in this formula.. Eg 56 is the number and it is repeated 2wice in that column but i want the count to show in ascending order if 56 number is 1 time than i want it to show one than the 2nd time when 56 is repeated i want it to show 2...Can u help me in this
