BUCKETS 2 gal or 5 gal. for just $1 with lid--folks ask your wal-mart bakery. They are food safe too, frosting comes in them and daily check can build up your bucket shortage you'll find out when they have the most available. 1st come 1st serve basis. I use them for everything including food storage. If you go out to specifically purchase a food safe bucket you pay upwards of $20 EACH. I've small grandchildren a 2 gal. bucket is perfect for them to help out doing chores and I can have it sealed in the bucket ready for them to feed. This prevents a 50lb bag feed being used up by the children feeding animals for a DAY. Protection from other critters dipping into your feed supply also helps the budget. $1--USES SUCH AS starter plants, legos, flour/sugar storage, mylar bagged food, water storage, canning jar lids, dirt carrying, water carrying. I use them everywhere for everything. They came in handy during last years ICESTORM and no power or city water for 9 days. They stack well too, makes a smaller home more organized.

Bro soak fennel that grows wild on the side of the road it grows everywhere, soak the entire plants in the bathtub remove the larger pieces of the plant and bathe yourself you'll be amazed....eczema gone after 2 or 3 bathes.

Thank you so much Lorraine! I went shopping yesterday and the store had NO chicken breasts so I bought two whole chickens. You had a video showing how to cut up whole chickens from 3 years ago. I followed your example and had no problem cutting up my chickens. I really appreciate you. Nothing but the wrapper went into the trash! I will be making bone broth soon. I have done it before when I have roasted a whole chicken. Now I will be able to make two batches of bone broth. Thank you again!

Congratulation on selling your homestead so fast, and finding a new homestead so fast. I watched allot of people search and search for months even years to find that perfect place. But I believe when it is meant to be it will happen and the timing was right, and everything is falling into place. Can’t wait to see the new land and see what came with it, and I hope you truly get your big workshop you are wanting. Hope this year odds a great one for you and the family. Is your in laws going with you all to the new property when you move?

Good luck ...Yes it's scary in between home steads...We did it. From Maryland to central Florida. 25 years ago. My bride with second child he was born the day I was finish with Maryland. No job. No work. Started my business and I don't look to regret it ...YOU CAN DO IT ! Being self retaliate I have 3 acers here. grow most all our food.
Weeds indicate a bacterial dominant soil. Weeds don't bother sprouting in a more fungal dominant soil.

So, you will be moving on? May I make a suggestion ? Lumnah Acres in New Hampshire will soon have their previous property for sale. As will Living Traditions in SW Missouri. I expect that neither one will be cheap but either one should be very suitable.
How is the search for a bigger farm?
