I did uni exchange in China in 2019 and my brother is considering doing it in the coming years. We really like your videos! They're a great way to see the Chinese exchange experience 😊
I’m now thinking to go to study abroad in China🇨🇳 and this video really encouraged me to study 汉语 more and more… I wanna attend Chinese uni in English course as an exchange student and take some Chinese language classes as well, and u seems to do all of my ideal life in China xD Thank u so much for your video and hope you’ll enjoy your life as an exchange student in China
wow je m'attendais pas à que tu parles français bahaha, sinon j'ai adoré la vidéo ! je pars à xi'an en septembre alors regarder des vlogs comme ça me donne encore plus envie d'y être aha
it's so interesting seeing how other foreign students live in Shanghai you almost have the same day as me xD De plus, j'ai été surpris de vous voir parler en français, mais ensuite j'ai vu que vous portiez un t-shirt du Canada, alors je me suis dit qu'il était peut-être canadien. Great video
I thought the same thing, I was like wtf? An English speaker in exchange in China having a French class. And plus you seemed to be a sport student by the jacket (jsp comment on dit veste de sport donc on va dire jacket même si ça me semble bizarre), I mean we don’t usually buy jackets with the Chinese flag on it
Hey man! I just came across your videos and I really enjoy it. Next month I’m going to Shanghai as well for an exchange year and seeing your videos really got me excited! :) u got Instagram for some questions regarding to finding an apartment or just about the life over there? :) Anyways, enjoy Shanghai and keep going! Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Hi! I’m also a student from Germany and would like to do an exchange year in China. Was it hard to do all the bureaucracy paperwork? And also how many months before moving did you start planning everything? I’m in the first semester and would like to go abroad in the 3rd.
I am a freshmen in highschool about to become a sophomore i’m hoping to travel abroad to china during my junior year any advice on what do do right now?
get your papers ready! to travel to china you'll need a visa, so you should apply for it before your trip! also set up your alipay and wechat BEFORE entering the country!
This is such a cool video! I'm considering doing a study abroad, and China is one of my top choices! And this video makes me want to study in China even more!! Was the application process to their exchange program difficult? I heard from my advisor that there's extra security processes to go through to study in China, was that true for you?
The application was not hard since my school had a bilateral agreement with Tongji. As for getting into China, it's really not that complicated, just need to get your visa!
Hello! I liked your video very much, it gave me some useful insights into classrooms, cantine and library. ☺ I wanted to ask, you have said that you are living off campus, was it arranged on your own?
I'm contemplating about applying to study in China but i'm scared shitless. I've been studying chinese for 2 years now but i'm sure i know next to nothing. Any advice?
Honestly just go for it! Don't let fear hold you back. It's a wonderful experience and you'll get to learn tons. Immersing yourself within the culture will even accelerate your Chinese learning!
Salut, super vidéo, tu es du Québec? Tu as fais ton échange avec quelle école?
I considering to study in China for a semester. Are classes very difficult? Or rather, is it diffuclt to red good grades? I am from europe and some friends of mine who studied abroad (not China) said that university is much easier than in our home country. How would you rate it?
Classes are not incredibly difficult, and you can get a decent grade as long as you submit your work on time! It really depends on what classes you take, but the workload is about the same as universities abroad.
I was just an exchange student, so I only had to get things arranged in my home country school. Nonetheless, you need certain requirements, like maintaining a good GPA and other school credits prerequisites. But overall fairly easy!
Don't give up, the first 1k is the hardest but you will eventually get there!

Ahh i love badminton but no one really plays it in my school. They focus more on volleyball and stuff 😑
学弟!oh how I miss my uni days!
One of the few countries where you need a VPN to upload this video. Really hope China liberalises properly - missing Hu rn.

Hi from Ireland 😊❤
Hi! :)
Hello! I liked your video very much, it gave me some useful insights into classrooms, cantine and library. ☺ I wanted to ask, you have said that you are living off campus, was it arranged on your own?
Yes, accomodation was arranged on my own! The university does offer on-campus housing, but not for visiting students!
"just a friend" XD
woah no way you only have 235 subs, the quality and editing is top notch!!
Appreciate it!!
do they teach the lectures in english for exchange students?
yes, you get your core classes in english, and you have chinese language lessons on top of that
I'm contemplating about applying to study in China but i'm scared shitless. I've been studying chinese for 2 years now but i'm sure i know next to nothing. Any advice?
