"5th Gen Fighter" vs. Anchorhead Raid - Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown x Top Gun: Maverick DLC

- Casually scoring 100k with the Su-57 variant included in the Top Gun: Maverick DLC. Unlike the vanilla version, I can simply spec into special missile parts instead of splitting with PLSL parts.
I apologize for the long delay between videos. There's been a lot of things on my mind, and I can't quite figure out the order in which to move forward with them.

To be fair, when they were filming the movie, the official designation and name of the SU-57 Felon had not been released yet. That information was made public just after they finished production.

It is simply a film version of the Sukhoi Su-57 "Felon" - the first 5th generation stealth fighter developed in Russia. The Su-57 is still sluggish in progress and 14 units have been produced at the moment. In addition to improved maneuverability and performance, the film Su-57 received new special weapons. While the standard Su-57 uses four R-77 missiles (AA-12 "Adder") as a special weapon, KAB-500 bombs and laser impulse weapons, the film Su-57, in addition to 4AAM consisting of R-77, also uses HCAA, i.e. a modified version of the R-77 and the debuting weapon in the form of the Ch-59MK2/Ch-69 (AS-22) maneuvering missiles with a range of 290 km. They are only carried by the Su-57.
Admittedly, the camouflages from the film and the AC7 markings on the F-14A, Su-57 and Super Hornet "Echo" fit perfectly.

Hey Knight. Is the huge graphical jump due to you playing the game on PC? I feel like everything is so much sharper in this video than anywhere else, even on a PS4 or Xbox One. I'm just curious.
Out of all the planes, the Darkstar is my favorite. Don't get me wrong that Maverick's F14 kicks ass it's just that It's secondary weaponry is lacking badly. If it had lasers, railguns or FAEBs then I'd use it more often

The thing is characters of the movie doesn't recognise the plane and they're just calling it “5th gen fighter”.
@@metalgearexcelsus I THINK it's due to the fact of... well recent world events, that some names were changed in the movie, they fight against "No Russia" and against a 5th Gen Fighter that IS NOT the Su-57 Felon xD
@@badasstasticusbadass4908 the film was made way before that, probably 2018 backwards. They simply can't get the license for, well, political issues, but a different one.

Honestly, they could've just called this the Su-57 | TGM similar to the F-14 and F-18 variants.
It's because of Russia themselves. They're not in the best position to want their most advanced plane portrayed as inferior to the F-14. A fighter, remember, that was developed in the 60's and 70's, and flew with the US navy until the tail end of the 80's and early 90's when it was replaced by the F-18 and F-35 Naval variants. It's why the fighter goes "unnamed" in TGM. Oh, and also the 57 has tech on board that the US will never see if Putin has his way with his air force. So yeah, blame Putin I guess for being a sore loser.
Im pretty sure that the reason why its called 5th gen fighter instead of su 57 is because they could possibly get into legal problems.

Yo, am I the only one who thinks the top gun su-57 handles worse than the base su-57?
I don’t feel a difference at all.
@@hmshood9212 idk the top gun one feels more stable which leads to me not being able to pull as sharply, maybe it’s a placebo. I did test it though and the top gun one is slower so I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually handles different
