This was really motivating as a woman who is coming out of burnout and starting a business. I’ve worked for many organizations that took me out of my nature and I just thought something was wrong with me for not enjoying the work culture. I love working slowly, romanticizing my day, and beautifying spaces/ the work I am producing. It’s different for women but in the most fun way possible. I had to do a lot of spiritual work to feel like myself again and to feel creative again. Alhamdullilah.
As you said “I still remember every comment someone made on my appearance”- every girl can relate and not just Baraa, they all start their fitness journey from this point. Lovedddd how she recovered from those traumas and turned it into a successful business
Wow, Baraa’s story is so inspiring! And I think something that that ever woman can relate to. The inner work is so important 🙌🏻 thank you for sharing and being so open about your journey!!
Wow, this episode really hit home for me. Baraa's journey is so inspiring-her shift from burnout to finding balance and building a meaningful business resonates deeply. I love how she openly shares the ups and downs, especially her reflections on fitness, motherhood, and the importance of doing inner work. That story about running her 10k postpartum-after thinking it wouldn’t be possible-is such a powerful reminder of resilience and that everything is possible if we put our mind to it. The conversation about balancing masculine drive and feminine flow was a chef's kiss! It’s so true that romanticizing our work and creating space for joy can make all the difference. Also, her approach to valuing herself, whether through brand collaborations or helping her clients, is a great lesson for all of us to stop playing small. Thank you both for this conversation. It felt like listening to a chat between close friends who just get it. ❤ After this, I'm definitely going to reflect on how I show up for myself and my goals!
It Looks Like I have to book a flight to Dubai. 😊 Baraa speaks my mind about the switch of feminine and masculine energy. Being in the hustle and in flow, it’s sometimes hard for me to step back into my feminine energy. Still working on it…
