When I heard this piece I decided to play it. So I looked for any Farruca by Paco Pena, but I couldn't find any sheet for this piece. Any one knows where should I look for it?
@@axel15473 The book in which you can find the sheet music is called Paco Pena, Toques Flamencas. Hard to find, but a really good reference for traditionnal flemenco. Good luck, it came with a CD or cassette back in the day!
It is not music of latin america it''s from spain. Most of flamenco comes from Andalucia , but this piece is from north spain. Guajiras, Colombianas, and Rumba were adopted from latin america and became part of the flamenco repetoire.
I really must pop in. This farruca (named "Punta y Tacón") is composed by Sabicas, not Peña. Peña has enough his own great compositions, he wouldn't like if somebody would suppose he stole it. So, Canal, correct your mistake. If you don't believe me, go to Paola Hermosin's channel and watch "Flamenco | Farruca Punta y Tacón Sabicas". I suppose Paola Hermosin, being Spanish guitarist, knows better. By the way, you'll see one more great performance of this piece. Sorry for this comment, I know you haven't done it with bad intention.
Please change the name, people will get confused if they don't know the piece or if they barely know about music... It should be 'Paco Peña plays Sabicas' of something like that. Just an advice
Was that a mistake at the end ? He was in the middle of a tremolo chord progression and he like... Started going into something and then he went straight to an F, not that it sounded like a mistake, but I've never seen a master make a mistake of any kind,
No, he just quit the progression there suddenly, because continuing it would have led him into another long phrase, which he obviously didn't want. He likes to use sudden stops and interesting chords as exclamation marks in his music anyway.
His tremolo is much better than the tremolo of Paco De Lucia also about the rhythm .I don't know why some people put Paco De Lucia at the position above other flamenco guitarists like Sabicas, Paco Pena, Juan Serrano,...They don't have ears or what ? !

Paco Pena, a true living legend!
Paco Pena's music is one of the things that make the earth spin.

Thank you very much for uploading this. Gracias.
It's like listening to a beautiful story that eventually comes to an end.
I'm studying this piece every day .
Gran guitarrista Paco Peña!
Superlative, lots of improvisation and falsetas he does not always play, thank you for this.
So relaxed -he is the man.
Totally agree!
Respect the master. After Sabicas, he's truely genius.
One of the best version of Punta Y Tacon in the world.
Words cannot describe
That was rather good. Something to aim for

Punta y tacon
No, it's not.

I always thought this was punta y tacon?

Grisha is very pleasing to listen to aswell, I prefer Paco Pena of course but I have nothing against Grisha, in fact I like his playing very much.
NeolardoPwn Grisha is an amazing flamenco player as well as Adam Del-Monte, they both flamenco black belt.
el verdadero es el maestro
I can't believe this vid was uploaded on 21/7/2011, and got only 536 views and 5 likes? Justin Bieber and some bull shit singer got millions?!?!

This is sabicas's version, right?
@@neapolitan6th Yes, it´s Punta y Tacón by Sabicas and Master Paco Peña did his interpretation.
would anyone be nice enough to tell me what cords he plays in his rasqueadas?
4:04 so badass
this is Sabicas Faruca
génie
Amusing how the music is exactly one beat behind on the video.
What kind of strumming is that at 0:38? I thought that was Rasgueado but then it's different. How do you strum like? Anyone?
It is a compas, a kind of rhythmic pattern
Just write Paco pena guitar lesson to TH-cam search. He showed his rasqueado technics in that video I learnt from there.
Quedan bien.
