    First coherent, concise, explanation of SVM I have come across. I especially appreciate the way you start with the motor MMF and the air-gap and show the connection between the physical motor/inverter and the abstract mathematics. I have searched many references I am fairly sure you are the first to explain SVM in this way. Thank-you very much for this fine lecture and also for the references.

    I really appreciate this great initiative of Govt. of India (NPTEL).
    And thank you so much sir for explaining the concept of the space vector so nicely.

    This was an amazing lecture. Exactly what i was looking for to start working with SVPWM for control of induction motor on a NI sbRIO 9606 GPIC board.

    I have a confusion sir. You are saying the RYB phase sequence, it means that Y phase lags R phase by 120 degree but you have drawn it like a leading 120 degree.
    If you consider Y to be lagging then
    v_alpha = 3/2*V_RN
    but v_ beta comes out to be = sqrt(3)/2 *[V_Bo - V_Yo]
    Please clear the doubt.
