Merci, merci, merci !!! Je vous imagine à l'Ospedale della Pietà, en belle robe, jouer devant le gratin Vénitien de l'époque qui se régale autant que moi quelques siècles plus tard... Bravo & continuez à nous faire du bien😍😍😍
You guys are amazing 👏👏 I used to play this piece 15 years ago and I have listened to many versions. Just a bit for you beautiful girls... You are 5 to 10 percent fast. I think its because you are beautiful and young. Give the audience a chance to enjoy your techniques as well.
What a delightful and compelling arrangement. Highlighting the two cellos in this way is great and also the piece is given a greater clarity without the orchestra. I really like this minimalist way of giving center stage to the cello. I absolutely adore this instrument and love to listen to your playing! Thanks so much Cicely and Annie for putting your talents on display with this piece!
Great job! Just learning this now, and it’s harder than it looks (and you even managed to wipe your hair away at around the 1:30 mark and didn’t lose a beat!).
@@cicelyparnas ahah or just an EP with this full concerto 2-cellos only version so I can continue to loop it without having to play youtube everytime 😂
Very beautiful playing! Can you please tell me what your microphone and recording setup is? I was looking for a good mic for recording my cello, but I can't find anything special for that
If you're looking for a mic for your cello, I would definitely look at large diaphragm condenser mics. I have an AKGC414, but I wouldn't recommend it, unfortunately. The mic I would love to have but can't afford is a Neumann U87. Best thing you can do is rent a bunch and try them all out.
Thank you! I'm afraid I can't remember what Annie plays on, but mine is a copy of my grandfather's 1698 Rosette Gofriller, made in the 1980s by Roelof Weertman.

What amazing feedback, thank you so much!! I'm totally biased, but I also love featuring the cello this way :)
Thank you for this moment of pleasure! Nice duet!
Браво!
Отличный дуэт и музыка Вивальди!👍
LOVE Vivaldi, all I've been listening to lately. Great job Cicely, your last few videos have been excellent, every time I see a new one I get excited!
aw thank you!! Yeah, Vivaldi is really the best :)
I love the arrangement! The incorporation of the orchestra into the parts was done so well!! Such crystal clear sounds from both of you
Amazing, fabulous articulation and dynamics, love, love, love it! ❤🎉
You have such great sound and technique. Love the composition. Hope to play it someday.
I randomly came across this while browsing and am so glad I diid. Beautiful playing of beautiful music.
Oh well welcome!! Thank you so much for the lovely comment!
This is my new favorite
Aw that's amazing 🥹🥹🥹
Beautifully done. Just two instruments, but somehow, the robust richness of sound feels as satisfying as an orchestra.
I'm glad you think so!! Making it feel like you're not missing anything was definitely the objective. Thank you!!
Je n'ai pas trouvé d'équivalent ailleurs. J'adore ! Merci pour le partage de cette pépite !
Wonderful duet! Superb music! Another Vivaldi classic.
🎶❤️🎶 you two play so well together! This is wonderful. 😊
Bravo! Sounds great
Wow, what a beautiful performance! Thank you for sharing it.
Most enjoyable. Thank you both!
I may be biased but everything sounds better as a cello duet!
haha I agree!!
This is a fact!
It is a surprisingly versatile combination.
As a cellist Ong. I don’t have anyone that will do duets with me though
Bravo! Well played. Thank you.
Beautiful. Very fun song to play as a cellist. As I’m one..
Such a great performance. Thank you!
Oh cool! Beautiful execution and great composition! Truly no "boring" parts 😁
Haha we don't do boring around here 😁
Lovely ladies, lovely playing ;)

I really give a standing ovation 👏
aw thank you so much!!
Brilliant.
I loved the ponticello, too.
Wow! Heard you play the Elgar concerto in Sedona, AZ and have been hooked ever since.
I miss Sedona!!
Great job! Just learning this now, and it’s harder than it looks (and you even managed to wipe your hair away at around the 1:30 mark and didn’t lose a beat!).
Bravo!! Sounds terrific!
Thanks Arsentiy!!!
Bravo, you are good.
Great sounds! Wonderful melodia… perfect recording… which microphone was used in this performance? Beatiful place in this channel!
Do you happen to have this great arrangement available for sale?
Yes! It's here ☺️ www.cicelyparnas.com/shop/vivaldi-concerto-for-two-cellos
It would be awesome if you did a play-along for your arrangement :)
Hi Cicely, I hope this will be released in your next album? lol I've been looping this video for ages!
Oh I hadn't even thought about releasing an album but maybe I should! Thank you!!

A fine performance! Your cellos look so different. May we have information about them?

two thumbs up ... with two thumbs
haha thank you!
