"They normally don't bite" they can for sure bite. The first day I got mine I was covered in painful bites. They are a wild animal, I wouldn't recommend them as pets unless you're experienced. I'm gonna be real honest for a second, sugar glider notes dont hurt. There was an investigation done in 2013 by PETA to determine and expose the many breeding facilities that sell flying squirrels and advertise them as "sugar gliders" so always make sure that little detail matches up. It could be caused by a slow digestive system, or a lack of cleaning in the cage. I feel the struggle because I clean my cage every 3-4 days and you cannot wipe it down with things like Clorox wipes because painful chemicals will irritate your suggies skin.

So sad. These are not domesticated animals. In Australia we are not permitted to keep these animals as pets. How degrading to call them pocket pets.
Actually we can in certain states with a wildlife licence. I didn't realise some states allowed them to be kept as pets until I moved from QLD to VIC

The name is sugr glider not sugar bears, this is bad information and education for someone who wants to keep them as a pet.

These people are mill breeders. Do not buy gliders from any place that tells you those tiny cages are acceptable.
