Well you should still sign up . Some people’s application fall through more than u think . And it realistically takes about 10mo to a year I know it’s not realistic when u need a place now but you should still get on em . In every state if you have to.

I'm in a 3 bed where I brought up my family. I couldn't imagine sharing it with anyone once they've gone. I'd be far happier alone than have a person in my home.
Rent is not bad it’s just the people in the California bubble and New York bubble you can get a regular 3 bed 2 bath clean house for $2,000 a month in most small towns and cities
not really when it comes to small towns. it's actually really hard to find an apartment here in KS thats 2 bed 1 bath for under a grand 5. (1500) 2k is also insanely expensive if you're alone.

Georgia doesn’t have rent controlled housing. I researched it and it’s 25 other states that don’t have it.
Some cities in the Bay Area have rent controlled apartments. Thankfully they do cuz I paid $1650 for a studio apartment in 2016 in the Bay Area 🙈

The waiting lists are at minimum 8 years long in NYC and Long Island. It's a fantasy.

Rent in Florida is 1,400 a month for 1 bedroom gotta say that’s really better than 1800 or 1900 a month
