I like to believe that piecemeal is just Billy calypso controlling it. Since unofficial explanation for small brawl is the Billy calypso is just that kid that picked up calypso ring at the end of twisted metal 4.
Isn’t it a prequel to the entire series? Isn’t that the point? It’s when they were all kids. I mean I don’t think it’s canon, but it’s what they were going for.
@nickp3949 too me. Small brawl is what happens after twisted metal 4. As it stands now. It might as well be seen as a prequel. But it's suppose too happen after twisted metal 4. Where the cannon winner is calypso. An he tries too take back his power from sweet tooth. An he only half ass succeeded in doing so. With both hum and sweet tooth being trapped inside his ring of power. Once the kid at the end of the scene find the ring aka billy. Billy become imbued with calypso power. Sweet tooth some how find a way too escape the ring. Calypso is trapped inside the ring but is able too take over Billy's body. Making him billy calypso. An all the child wonders and imagination reshaped the twisted metal 4 world into a more kid friendly and colorful world. Where the twisted metal competition is done with rc cars and why most if not all the wishes are more child like with two being more real than they should be,some backfiring in calypso and why it seems like the children don't face too much in the way of devastating consequences such as death. Maybe horrible injury. But not death. But that's my interpretation of small brawl.
@@jerichowolf8050 I think you’re over complicating it man. Unless there’s some text that proves its connection to 4, I don’t think they have anything to do with another. It’s simply showing them when they were all kids (even though storywise it doesn’t make that much sense that they all went to school together).

Because trying too say that the twisted metal competition has been going on since the cowboy days doesn't make sense either from 4 opening cinematic. So for me. My idea works. But twister metal 3 and 4 are none cannon. Same as small brawl. The only ones that are cannon is 1,2,head on,and 2012. That's it. Everything else has been generally listed as none cannon. Black is just how sweet tooth sees the world. An generally none cannon since the drivers don't make sense for certain cars.
I actually super dig Piecemeal. Might be one of my favorite TM bosses because the constant swapping between boss and normal enemy combat keeps it fun and fresh for me and feels more like the rest of the tournament than any other boss fight in the series. I only slightly feel it's length. Spawning him on top of the health pickup was... a choice however. For me it's trapper that really ruins things. So much so that he's the main reason I pass up playing the game. For 2012 the carnival isn't too bad, but Iron Maiden makes me feel like lk,sdaxwlio ksdfcl;okloi;kfid uosfhgpiuwhopwhoiwg hh;oiwthoi
I could not stand Iron Maiden or Carnival of Carnage. What really blows is I think The Brothers Grimm, while not perfect, really went in the right direction on how a more epic Twisted Metal boss battle should feel. Then they just completely crapped the bed with Iron Maiden and I seriously cannot comprehend what in the world they were thinking with that boss. It's a pretty difficult toss-up between Iron Maiden, Carnival of Carnage, and TM4's Sweet Tooth for me, when it comes to the worst boss in the series. At least you can cheese Sweet Tooth and end the battle quickly, but still.
For TM 3 for Prime Evil Boss fight if you wait near the bottom drop square hazard / drop door area you can trap him with Augger or use any character to 1 hit kill the boss
Using TM2 Minion for the 3rd time in TM4 alone makes him a poor boss in my eyes. It doesn't help that I think he's even easier than in TM3 because he just gets stuck on the ledges in the maze all the time, and he's a prime target for the auto lob

Iron Maiden and Carnival of Carnage remian the worst bosses to fight imo and are probably the worst/sweatiest gaming experiences I've ever had. They take so long and are so tedius that it becomes complete Hell. I'm so glad I finally unlocked Warthog so I have never have to play them again. I will say that I actually like Warhawk. I enjoy the cat and mouse gameplay it has and I actually don't mind setting up the tankers to destroy the shield. It's not my alltime favorite but I personally find it underrated (Minion in that game though holy shit he's hard.)
Dark Tooth in TM 2 wasn’t too bad depending on who you played as. Mr Grimm and Twister were fast enough to effectively spam hit and run middle attacks.
Iron Maiden is definitely long and tedious I can see why it’s number one, unless you’re me and can finish the level on twisted in less than 3 minutes 🫢 (This isn’t meant to be a flex pls don’t get mad)
