Class, style, funny & humble... a true legend!! I'm so grateful too view such great legend in this sport. May your angels forever keep you safe. MUCH Love John!!
I just love this man... so special on the bike and a real gent... drove for three hours for his autograph in Cork and photographed with him, then turned around and went home. The wife still looking at me...
Anybody who can fly between walls and buildings at 195 mph while the bike is wobbling all over the place and take the time to notice people at the pub having a pint is truly a racer. :)
So quiet an unassuming, and yet he is without a doubt the best man on that course. Ultimate respect. How to process that much information so fast without crashing and still smell a burger cooking. Walking down the shops must be like slow motion for him...
It's amazing how he explains how it feels to him to defy something that seems impossible to the average joe. Those speeds dont translate the same to us as to him his senses are extreme to adapt to that environment so keen that he even has the time to contemplate eating a burger that he smells cooking on someones grill just blows my mind lol.
What a fantastic bloke. and a true star . Met him at aberdare road races . And he gave his time to everyone . Thank you for a fantastic day. And the autographs . All the best molesport rallying
Just mind boggling the skill, speed, sheer bottle and the fact he can make all the observations as well. Plus he is a nice down to earth bloke. Cant wait to see how Guy Martin fares in the same team.
Well i think it says it all when you SHIT YOURSELF just Watching it !!!!!!! My Brain cannot Register the SHEER SKILL required to just Complete a Lap , let alone RACE IT..... OMG He reminds me of Ghost Rider , they Both have Balls Bigger than the Ripest Water Melons
Biggest balls on the planet. As a motorcycle rider and someone who does the occasional track-day, I can't even imagine flying over Bray Hill at 180 mph+ with houses, curbs, bushes and light-poles just meters away. Much respect Mr. McGuinness!
Probably the least acclaimed rider in history the man is clinical a true legend , if he was better looking and more of a barry sheen or foggy or joey we all would be raving about him like we do about guy martin even though hes never won the tt , respect to guy and all these riders but give mcguinness his dues hes already a legend
What a great humble down to earth fella jm is. A credit to the sport , himself and his family. I hope the crash this week at the the nw doesn't make him want to retire . Get well soon .
Ive been riding a little over a year and ive hit 180 on the track but not over 150 on the street. I watch the TT so i can live the experiance......if i tried to ride it....i would die from it. This race is for only the best.
I think the TT is the ultimate test of motercycle riding ability. I know its hard to compare to the track racers, but these guys are the ultimate racers, rossi etc the track racers, in my opinion are not in the same league as road racers. Road racing the the ultimate test of man and machine.
Just watching this gets my blood pressure up. I'm sitting on my ass in front of my computer but I actually get scared watching this. About a year ago I crashed on a Ducati 1098 going 107 mph (per the police report) and I thought that was bad. When I got out of the hospital I discovered the TT. Every guy that does this race has more nerve than 99.99% of the general public. Even 99% of the riders that have the skill to do it don't.
Helluva way to learn about the TT ! It was the opposite with me. I learned about the TT first, which is what got me into circuit racing (what we call road-racing in the USA). If you haven't already done so, check into the history of the TT, including the Surtees, Hailwood and Agostini years, back when the TT was part of the world championship rounds, and every world-class racer HAD to do the TT. Amazing times.
I find it amazing that this race was part of the circuit. One of these years I hope to see it in person but it's a long shot. The riders are giants among men in my opinion and I'm sure in anyone else's opinion who knows about the TT. Take care.
I will never understand how this race got legalised in a first place. It is utter madness and the skill required is unparalleled to any race on the planet earth. In motor racing you seek to extract the maximum from your equipment. To reach the limit 《pontential》 of what is available to you u have to exceed it at some point to to know what the limit was... but that would almost certainly mean death at a TT race.
Thanks John for that bit of info loved it I'm still, wanting to give it a go, does Honda still make the cub, that ought to be a safe enough displacement class, maybe 160 Honda dream, might be a bit quicker lap,cub might be a little to slow I'll probably forget the course and tricky section by the time the cub starts the second lap might be night fall of the second day,ha ha,nah cbr600 should do fine R6,I've been trying to find CBR900RR for years no luck, that looks like the perfect bike for the isle...it really incredible what you guys do,I don't I be wise to go out anything bigger than a 600 for the first time learning bumps and braking zones...thanks again, really get a good idea of how much the road widens and narrows 170 to 180 mph some places looks 8meters in then back out then in again...enjoyed it.
John Mac is the man. Simple as. Guy Martin is fantastic. But for other reasons. One's a winner who understands the TT course. The other's just mental but mental ain't enough. Or big sideburns.
Hats off McG, straight down the line, no nonsense, this man represents motorcycle sport full f-ing stop. Got to be a SPOTY at some point...anyway thats another can of Cricket and worm shit.
Just had a look on Honda pro racing nr 4. He said he do not use traction control on the superbike! In this game he must be the Alien King. Can he take Joeys 26 wins and get a free entry to Valhalla?
That would be the English language; common among people from his country, England, where the language was first spoken. You're not too bad at it yourself. I can only see one total error in your comment. Keep up the good work!
Even JM wouldn't claim to be better than Joey. As for Michael, he is a very fine rider, but he comes across as a hard man and a bully. I will be sorry if he ever breaks Joey's TT record.
McGuiness? I'm just amazed how he lazily gets aboard an electric bike with entirely different riding parameters and flogs it around the IOM at almost the same laptime as he would on a ICE bike. Only one lap mind because he drained the battery, but Jeez, that lap was sensational...
Mate I agree u r right I own a 125 110 mph so may b I was just ranting but no disrespect to the man he's a legend I could neva do wot hr has I did not mean any disrespect to him. I think all road racers r king.
Class, style, funny & humble... a true legend!! I'm so grateful too view such great legend in this sport. May your angels forever keep you safe. MUCH Love John!!
I'll second that. What a man.
+Charlie Brown Ill 3rd that boys.. >;-) be so cool to hang out with him for a day

I just love this man... so special on the bike and a real gent... drove for three hours for his autograph in Cork and photographed with him, then turned around and went home. The wife still looking at me...
haha love it, id do the same ;-)
It’s a woman it will never understand!
Anybody who can fly between walls and buildings at 195 mph while the bike is wobbling all over the place and take the time to notice people at the pub having a pint is truly a racer. :)
thirsty racer
What an amazing man. Legend. Every time he speaks, I learn.
every TT racer is a hero
I absolutely agree!
ayWusgod Period.
Yes you right
Love the way those close shots on his hands give a possible insight into how his brain gets him round the circuit. Legend.
This man is one of a kind.A real legend.Balls of steel.Respect!!!!
One of the TT's greatest riders of all time and an all round nice guy JM :)
McGuinness has proven he is the most versatile rider in the world, yet he remains grounded and humble. He is definitely a class act.
So quiet an unassuming, and yet he is without a doubt the best man on that course. Ultimate respect. How to process that much information so fast without crashing and still smell a burger cooking. Walking down the shops must be like slow motion for him...
Thank you John for making these videos! It is like we are sitting having a pint and your explaining the course...Fantastic.
All the best!
I would love to buy him a pint, seems like such a down to earth guy, and what talent! Amazing stuff right there.....
John McGuiness simply brilliant.. Like any great sportsman or artist in anything, 'A master of concentration.'
+dakota38rip+ ya that's cool...he is cool...I like to find out what groups and songs he listens to
What a fantastic bloke. and a true star . Met him at aberdare road races . And he gave his time to everyone . Thank you for a fantastic day. And the autographs . All the best molesport rallying
This guy is awesome, how many champions could you meet that are as down to earth approachable and easy to talk to.That's really commendable.
Met John many times and he is a genuinely nice guy and in my opinion the best around the tt
Just mind boggling the skill, speed, sheer bottle and the fact he can make all the observations as well. Plus he is a nice down to earth bloke. Cant wait to see how Guy Martin fares in the same team.
John McGuinnes is the gladiator of the racing world !!!! Fuck all negative comments and deslikes !
fastest man! enough said :P
Well i think it says it all when you SHIT YOURSELF just Watching it !!!!!!!
My Brain cannot Register the SHEER SKILL required to just Complete a Lap , let alone RACE IT..... OMG

I cant imagine any man in the world watching that and not being impressed!
+3Vimages you get your sport bike haters...they would never get it..
kevin johnson True ... I am not exactly a follower but can easily see the skill and bravery.
C So true ... kids of today are mostly precious little snowflakes. They would rather be accused of being a paedophile than being a racist!
+3Vimages gimme racist all day
Insane show my friend # 1
love that map on the table - Got it on my 2016 T shirt Thanks from Denmark
The word legend is probably used a bit to often.
But this man is truly a legend.
Simple amazing what he can do.
How humble and down to earth. Humanity can learn something from this man.
What a humble individual. He could certainly act out like some some dis-functional american actress if he wanted. What a human!
You are definitely ignorant and a part of the problem. So far to go for you, please do not have children or marry until you grow up.
Great down to earth guy is John 👍
"Smell the burgers at 160mp/h" - legend
All the best JMG for this year...keep on going your old but gold...
"I'd love to be sat in that field havin a burger..." He's thinking about after smelling the BBQ fumes @ 190 odd mph. What a legend.
Isn't it striking that two of the biggest heroes of our time in the TT have the names of brands of Beer and Rubber?
:D :D :D
Thanks for watching and ur kind words. MY BEST
@@JMAC-rs6ey If you'd spelled the name right I'd have believed you hahaha
John McGuinness - Bloody Awesome!!
A true hero. And a true gentleman. John mcGuinness ,Walter rohl, juha kankenan. Best of the best.
‘Legend’ doesn’t even begin to describe this rider.
What a great humble down to earth fella jm is. A credit to the sport , himself and his family. I hope the crash this week at the the nw doesn't make him want to retire . Get well soon .

I'd been riding a few years when this video was new and I still feel like a hero just doing a power wheelie in second. 😂
typical mcpint the only fella who can sniff a burger out at 190...incredible
Not only a teammate but a sincere friend of mine. My best
Love this dude, so level headed!
Brilliant stuff !

These guys live and ride in another dimension
Odwaga i szacun dla tego pana 💪

John is the Man on MAN!!
I like to thank all my fans worldwide
At 5:10 it's just captivating! The quickest doubt in his mind could end him in an instant.
DJ, the King.
That amazes me. I've been riding for 6 months and I've already seen 270km/h (168mph) on speedometer.
A great rider and an ambassador for British dentistry
I have beers with him a couple time a day, When watching Lockk9's videos. :)
John, we love you.
my idol john!!!!u have the balls!!!!

In my 36 years of riding motorcycles the fastest I've been was 135 MPH for 20 seconds or so but 185 that's moving! Awesome video egually awesome guy!
King as in fastest man ever. Full stop. However, BIG respect to both of them. Huge cahoonas required.
HE IS A GOOD RIDER
Truly a bad ass.......... motor biking at 160 plus, smelling the fans BBQ's, he's as cool as butter on ice ........
These men who road race should be the highest payed sports men in the world, so brave
You're my hero.
Hats off McG, straight down the line, no nonsense, this man represents motorcycle sport full f-ing stop. Got to be a SPOTY at some point...anyway thats another can of Cricket and worm shit.
John you are a fuckin legend man.smelling the burgers is right lol
He probably pulls into Macdonald’s and grabs a Big Mac and Fries, then keeps riding, while the others are still catching up.
so humble....
Just had a look on Honda pro racing nr 4. He said he do not use traction control on the superbike! In this game he must be the Alien King. Can he take Joeys 26 wins and get a free entry to Valhalla?

Legend....... lights are on but nobody is at home:))
No disrespect to any of the Dunlop clan, but the best of his and probably any time, hat's of to you Mr McGuinness
Even JM wouldn't claim to be better than Joey. As for Michael, he is a very fine rider, but he comes across as a hard man and a bully. I will be sorry if he ever breaks Joey's TT record.
