Fabulous picture and lesson. I love these little birds, redbrested nutch. They come to my birdfeeder as well as zip up and down our trees. They typically work their way dow a tree, head down, finding little bugs etc, tucked behind bits of bark. Thank you for this.

'A bird' ughhh nuthatch it's a eurasian nuthatch. The only bird species which can walk vertically down trees

Yes, try it out. There are many vids here on YT using colored pencils to draw birds using a different, drawing paper.
