I think Alpha has potential in Chimera because it’s an inherent summon 3k monster that can battle over an apollousa, threaten a bounce to bait a negate, and then you can chain Chimera Fusion to go into Guardian Chimera

Kaijus were meta for a good while and some decks definitely still should run 1. (The light machine one in cyber dragon is great at 1). But yeah, slumber requires at least 2 different kaiju and can be stopped by ash
