Good luck with that, there's no way to buy it online nowadays, EA thought it was a good idea to just erase everything about the blackbox era. You can either buy it from someone or just pirate it
It worked like that if you choose automatic gears change, you could do it manually with clutch then you could get way faster gear changes. Honestly I like that feature, that you could maximise your performance by using your own skills.
