    I just want to say I am so grateful for how much time and effort you put into your videos. I just got back into going naturally curly after damaging it for most my life. I'm 39 and I've been watching your videos every day. Some times more than once because I multitask while watching. For 3 weeks now my curls have gotten healthier and bouncier because of you. Thank you!!❤🙏

    I look forward to trying these tips!
    After a recent hair cut, I went back to having bangs, and I love them, they do a lot to shape my face... but I have realized the difficulties in styling. Do you know of any curly-wavy content creators with bangs who could help???

    This video was really helpful! I just realized that I never put products at the back of my hair. When it come to sectioning there's always a problem. My curls always take a wonky form and I can't really get rid of it so I just always avoid to make sections. I just split my hair to the left and the right side and do everything in that way , but I always struggle to style the crown as well as the back of my head. Although I'm two years into my hair journey I feel like I haven't unlocked my curls full potential. I have really long hair and that's something that makes the styling process even harder. Tomorrow I'll try some of your tips!! Thank you so much for your help Gena!!! 💓 🙌

    I cannot believe I never even thought to look at the back of my head while/after styling!! I can’t believe I’ve been walking around with that ugly, thin, part for YEARS!!! Your video was amazing and I can’t wait to start implementing these tips to my hair routine. Thank you!

    Ok so my hair texture has been horrible for the past 6 months, I just tried this routine and it looks lovely omg thank you so much
    I only used a leave in spray and mousse but the trick was definitely applying product in sections and the brush styling is just genius!! Great job

    Hi. I am new to watching your videos. I took the plunge and bought the Ouidad gel and the Curl Smith oil to cream and Wow. I can't get over how amazing my curls look. I am 55 years old and have always struggled with my curls being frizzy and limp until now. Thank you so much for your videos and suggestions. My hair looks amazing and I owe it all to you 💕

    Love your videos! Thank you! First before I forget….that Bounce Curl oil is so phenomenal!!!!! It just makes my hair so soft and SHINY!!!!!! I cannot live without it now.
    My hair is fully gray. Short, not to my shoulders. It hangs about at mid neck. My hair is so thick that I have issues styling and my curl pattern is loser on top of my head so getting that to look decent is a struggle. I’m looking for a styling brush with a thin handle so I can coil it around the handle to try it that way. I have the bounce curl brush now and love it but still struggle with the top. It just falls. I know it’s because it’s just coarse and dense but it’s frustrating. Anyway….thank you again and keep up the great work! I’ve been binge watching lol 😂

    Thank you so much for this video! I always have issues styling the back of the head, so this really helps. I am wondering how much gel you are using in each section. I haven't been sectioning, so I use about a half dollar-sized dollop for each the sides and the back. I assume it's a little less when sectioning.

    • @GenaMarie
      @GenaMarie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I show it towards the beginning of the gel application! It’s about a dime to nickel size per section, then a bit more when doing a final scrunch

    Such a fabulous video and just what I needed. I’ve used the clamp method, but I need to try your other suggestions. Also, I never thought to style while I’m applying the gel In sections. I’ve been applying gel In sections, comb through and then resection again to style. Your method is much more efficient. I have the hairspray, but haven’t quite figured out the best way to use it, all over my head or possibly to add lift on the top of my head or both. Any thoughts? Thanks as always!❤️

    Great tips as always! I got the Curlsmith hairspray and am having fun with that, but I am never sure whether I should do my finishing oil and then hairspray, or hairspray and then oil. Both seem to work ok, but I don't know if I am messing up the hairspray with oil on top or vice versa. Do you have any thoughts on this?

    • @GenaMarie
      @GenaMarie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used oil first then hairspray here, but either works. If you want the most hold I would do hairspray last. Less hold would be oil last since oily dissolves cast
