22 yrs my dad worked for British rail. I was born in '65 and my birth certificate says my dad was 'shed, chargeman (railway). Used to have to go with me mum to temple mills to pickup his wages from the old wages desk. Family went everywhere for free...and the Xmas party's at the bottom of Angel lane...memories of gold. ⚒

back in the day at stratford!, i grew up in the late seventies standing on down GE side watching the freight loco's out of the mills and channelsea curve!

Just one year before the shed invasion and this could be mistaken for the eighties, enjoyed watching

@hihat101 I went back there on saturday its much different to these shots no depot , the freight and the north london line both use the tracks you see here the left turning has gone its the north london line station .
