faze had some clear attitude issues. AWP vs AWP broky didn't play very well. niko and g2 read them like a book making perfect rotates and calls before faze even decided what to do mid round. in a time where you need the awper to carry to beat other tier 1 teams broky needed a 1.5 to compete with monesy who imo is the best awper in cs. maybe not the greatest because of accolades, but the best. he can rifle, clutch, deeg, and obviously awp with the best of them. just look at monesy highlights over his short career. if u are getting outmatched call wise, by the awper, and mentality you need the rifles to take over. tough when u are against Niko who went off, nexa in the clutch, and hunter played damn well compared to his rough patch a year ago until basically now. faze was checked out after the way they lost map one. like the .2 second kills in the 1v1 ramp.
@chrisc6497 True, and in some sense, you can say that Max was right when he said they had nothing to lose because their mentality was great, I didn't see any of them get tilted even until the final round, however Faze who was the one supposed to demolish G2 started to get scared as the rounds started getting out of hand. This game was amazing compared to the G2 Faze one, where nothing really interesting was happening after the first half on Dust 2. G2 was destroying Faze, and leaving them rarely any chances, which is kinda boring, and I'm saying this as a G2 fan. Respect for 9Z
If you haven't seen it the post game interview really is a must watch for this game, Stewie actually seems to have improved every single aspect of his attitude and he's shown he's a good voice of reason in these matches which is incredible for his desirability, he's definitely going to be a must have for a lot of tier 1 teams and I wouldn't even be surprised if G2 straight up just takes him over Nexa (I *sincerely* doubt over Hooxi though, I think a proper IGL is just the obvious better choice)
Please don t comment more about cs....Stew is just showing some low iq moves and kill instinct hunt moves that almost sold the round couple times....He is just out of this level and his prime is past...Half of his kills were running and shoting with mp9...

@@mootations2323 I think that's excusable for a first return to tier 1 and more forgivable and desirable than being hard to work with, not to mention he has the history to back up his potential firepower so I think he'll have a ton of offers for teams willing to try and see if they can refine him into an amazing shot again alongside his selfless playstyle or just take him for better team synergy (Liquid has had major problems and I think no matter what changes they make Stew could find a good fit + return to NA org possibly)

Stewie just needed reps. He's doing his role perfectly and having some impact. He's doing this in tier 1 cs too. Tier 2 and tier 3 teams should offer him contracts he still has some potential. He's won a major for a reason and he still can grind CS everyday, he just needs to get back to the pro play style
The flash in smoke at A Long done by stewie still looks a smooth as it did all those years ago. It's such a flashy play literally, glad to see it utilized effectively again :D
Stew's spraying leaves much to be desired but the space he opens up is clear to see, especially for hunter and nexa, gives them so much space that even if they underperform they're able to find impact.
Exacly like vs Faze, it was a Niko/Monesy show and surprisingly Hunter had a really great Dust 2. If the 3 are playing their top form, they should have a chance in finals On Inferno at 4-4 and Monesy/Niko already racking up 7 kills + assists and impact while the bottom 2 have 1 kill each and 0 impact. They could have plugged in any 2 players and the result would have the same 9Z cant compete with the 2 brothers and Monesy being in form.

What brought G2 to the finals was extremely good performances by Niko and Monesy. Stewie had some important rounds here and there but G2 would have likely won without those aswell. On the other hand there are also multiple rounds which misplays from Stewie lost them said round. He certainly isn‘t doing bad so far, but what he does would not work without the performances that Niko and monesy put out.
VIt should win it normaly, its possible to beat 9Z and a odd non showing up Faze, but winning finals while relying entirely on the 2 brothers and monesy is difficult. Niko and Monesy have to play their best while the invisible performance under pressure of VIt stars strikes again
I think so too honestly (coming from a stew glazer), but 9z did beat Vit so even though I’m not expecting a win, I wouldn’t be surprised if Stew beats Zywoo again (flashbacks to Katowice 2019)

VIt should win it normaly, its possible to beat 9Z and a odd non showing up Faze, but winning finals while relying entirely on the 2 brothers and monesy is difficult.

I think so too honestly (coming from a stew glazer), but 9z did beat Vit so even though I’m not expecting a win, I wouldn’t be surprised if Stew beats Zywoo again (flashbacks to Katowice 2019)
