A lovely intelligent wise young lady. She has done well to stick it out in the freezing cold winters. May the good Lord protect and keep her on her journey in life & in Scotland. Thanks Vanessa & all the best with 3rd baby.
What a multi talented young woman! An articulate and riveting story teller, while doing some dexterous handwork! And she manages to look super cheerful, all at the same time! That Nigerian restaurant in Edinburgh should give her some discount vouchers for the publicity! Vanessa, thanks for bringing the rising star Aisha to your channel 👍
THIS is what I LOVE about Scotland 🥰 we are such a multicultural and multiracial country, from Asian to African to Caribbean we are ALL here in Scotland 💝🏴 Exactly racism is everywhere in the world, and whilst I am aware of others facing racism, I personally in my decades, I’ve never experienced racism. To me Scott’s we are more welcoming than most.
The original Scots, Irish, Brits, Welsh where black. The Jacobite Scots who were the Stuarts, were and it was they who colonized the 13 colonies. Our history was changed after we slowly lost power world wide starting around 1760's circa. Germany's last Black monarch Kaiser Wilham gave up power in 1919. Most of the Black Germans were deported to Africa. The indigenous Blacks of the UK were either free or indentured going to the Americas and the Caribbean...theres tons of proof of this thats coming out. The last we have are our real last names. Not a slave name. I have met many here from the Islands who say they're ancestors came from either Britain, Scotland or Ireland not Africa. The reason this is happening is due to the fact that we are in the age of Truth now, the Aquarian Age. I plan on going to Scotland/Cornwall where my ancestral sire name originated.
It’s normal to finish secondary school at 15/16 in Nigeria. I finished secondary school at 16 and Uni at 20 (after studying a 4 year course). Some of my friends finished at 19
Aisha you a shinning star gem, young but super brilliant with good sense of direction. Brainy and so independent at a young age. Surely you are going place in the world, the sky is your limit. So proud to promote the kind of breed we produce in NIGERIA. Kudos to your parents.👋👋👋
This video was so reminiscent of getting my hair done as a child and listening to my elders speak. Kudos to your son Vanessa as he got his hair braided. The speaker was funny and eloquent.
Lovely video, was interested to listen to it because I stay in Glasgow Scotland. Well done Aisha. All the best with your Degree. You are such a brilliant person and is so inspirational listening to you. Your parents will be so proud of you.
She is so outspoken and articulate, I had to watch all this past my bed time. Did anyone notice when the racism part came up, her tone changed and tried to choose her words carefully. You are so blessed siz ❤
She has a very lovely accent for someone who came to Scotland in her later teens. Usually even when people 12+ to a different country sometimes you can tell they still have a bit of their original accent.
WELCOME BACK to bonnie Scotland 🥰🏴 One of my very dear friends, is from Burundi, she came with her family as a child to Scotland. Prior to her I was clueless about Burundi and never met anyone from Burundi. My childhood best friend is from Nigeria (British born), and taught me how to make Nigerian jellof which she tells me is better than Ghanas 😂 (just joking 😊) I can’t wait to visit west Africa one day 💕 And CONTINUED GOOD LUCK for your studies, you are very naturally clever and set for GREAT THINGS 💝🥰
Your Nigerian friend doesn't know what she is talking about when it comes to jellof 😌, it's just like the Qatar 2022 world cup it doesn't qualify over Ghana 😂😅
She's a phenomenally ambitious, courageous, focused, motivated and beautiful young woman and destined for greatness indeed. As you guys said, "Watch this space". Great content. Thanks for sharing her journey with us. Beautiful content. 👌🏿
Aisha was extremely brilliant, and her personality was so amazing. I’m sure her parents are really proud of her. I wish her a lot of success in all of her future endeavors. Great job for the interview Vanessa!
Why does it seem like so many BW do that, they move to overwhelmingly majority nonblack places then they’ll comment on or otherwise discuss being a small minority in that country - well you knew that when you went so why make that a talking point? its just an odd trend i've noticed, all these videos from BW about what its like being black in this country or being black in that country i dont know it just strikes me as odd
They make the videos to share their experience duh…clearly these type of vids get a lot of views and bring in revenue because your here and continue to watch…even though it’s “weird” to you……

This is not a lady to just hook up with, first of all, you have to be an intellectual worldly academic, and most likely a man born into a Muslim family. This woman is an upper-middle-class Yoruba Muslim, believe me, they have their standards.
SHE'S EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT YOUNG LADY, HER PRESENTATION IS ON 'A+LEVEL WOOW IN ALL SUBJECTS.
She is!
Smart woman beyond her years. She has only been in Scotland for 5 years and can speak with a British accent.

Oscar, is so cute...
Being Dark skin anywhere out of Africa is challenging. 🙌🏿

You’re about to rip that person’s hair out…
Need to moisturize and soften
Water and oil (coconut, almond, carrot, etc...)
Ikr, not combing from scalp either. Otherwise lovely young lady
I was like…why isn’t she using any creams or oils to moisturize.
Thought I was the only one🤣 But I loved the video content. But Was just staring at the hair.

She’s beautiful 😍 Your son needs his nappy ends clipped that’s why she’s struggling.
Next time say an African, human beings shouldn't be classified in colours, for instance i have never seen a white person before.
Ouch! Combing her hair looks so painful. She sounds American. Why does she speak with an American accent and not Scottish?
You people should show us the way before this old dwarf finish us for Ghana
Please Nigerians, don't forget about Ghana, it added some bit of spice to your girl's education. Best things come from Ghana.
