Instead of showing the asset tag on alert message if I want to display on a field present on the incident form as Asset tag, how to fetch the data/record using the above code.

Hi Souvick,
As you will be returning data to Client Script. You can use the follwoing line of code to populate short description with the output of Script Include.
g_form.setValue('short_description', VALUE_RETURNED_FROM_SCRIPT_INCLUDE);
