I remember walking into circuit city many years ago and buying this at random. Idk how many playthroughs I did but it was the best. Glad to know it's still alive somehow
I really like your guides and i await the evil one for 2.22. But another thing. I would really like a "basics" tutorial. By now i heard that "levels" and "leadership" are important, but i lack the feel of how severe these things are. Which fights when to take? How do I know, when my army is strong enough for a push? General rules of focussing the enemy and general rules of retreat? In the faction guides you tell when to do what, but because i can't yet understand the core mechanics at times, I don't get the most out of them. Nevertheless, you do amazing work and I really enjoy your contant.
It all depends on the strategy... in most matchups you use cavalry, so your baseline heroes for Rohan are Eomer and Theoden. I would always choose Eomer first though, he is more useful in creeping for example. Dont recruit Eowyn. She is very situation specific and simply not worth the money in early game. All the other heroes are a bonus reserved for mid to late game but try to always prioritize Aragorn later on. With Mordor for example, the big mistake most players are making is recruiting a normal Nazgul as soon as they have 5000 instead of saving for the Witch king which brings huge leadership bonuses to your units and is more resistant to damage. So Witch king always should come first, other 2 Nazguls are just supporting bonus roles once you are rich. Isengard is simple. Get out Lurtz as soon as possible.Basically like 5 heroes in one. Gondor start with Faramir. He is very cheap compared to what he brings to the early game. He has a horse, can level up units and can switch between ranged and melee which has so much utility along with a powerful attack which is great against Nazguls. It would seem like Boromir should be next but its better to bring Gandalf before provided you got the pover point for Gandalf the white. Hobits are good for many things. Except for capturing free settlements so your units are free to pressure, you can use them to kill enemy workers to damage the economy. It is much more significant than it seems in the early game. This inches can determine his heroes being delayed and such. Also they have cloaking ability so you can scout and send them near enemy base to observe which units your enemy is making so you can counter with appropriate units of your own. Also if your command points are all used you can sell you units which you dont need in a particular situation to free the space for other units.
I do not play the game cca 10 years, but wasn't back in the day strategy against Mordor to spam Elven warriors and build them fire arrows, as Mordor can not counter them with anythings, since they do not have cavalary?
great video but can you tell me on which point in the game you go for the rohirim archers and when do you build the archerbuilding for get the firearrows ? Also i want to know which conditions have to be fullfilled, that the game is on the "middgame" or "lategame" ? I mean you say that the Theoden and Eomer have to rekruit on "middgame" I DONT KNOW WHEN THIS IS THE RIGHT MOMENT !!!
As a brand new player this does not help me at all. This game is played at such an insane speed that nobody really new to rts’s can get into it. The difficulty spike from medium to hard is completely absurd in skirmish. There’s no way for a legitimately new player to learn this game because you’ve all been playing it so long that 15 seconds into the match, an actual brand new player is already 10 minutes behind. This community wants to grow but it is everything except beginner friendly if you want to try to play multiplayer
Shanks I’m stuck at the Good campaign Hard difficulty, the level after helms deep where you have to break the dam with the ents. Got any tips? Tried many different things 😮😂
doing the reworded evil campaign. The mission when u go to Harad crashes for me every 3 mins. i played it through in December and it didn't not sure what's up with it, ( I've done the repair thing on the launcher.)
I never manage to destroy a upgraded gondor castle. I have full map control and all heroes, but I never manage to destroy the wall and break in before my oponent manage to summon eod or build up his army again.
Use the army of the deaths to break the door and the main build. Also use archers summon to go in and take all the damage from the towers and the catapults, that way u wil have more time to destroy him. Be smart, dont attack when the enemy is at his full magic power
@Claudiu-Florin Dinescu Elves are very good against isengard combos. Isengard combos are slower than elves and have less fire power than elves. And elven warriors are better than rohirrim archers because they can tank fire arrows more. If your theoden is level 4, recruit couple of normal rohirrim to trample the combos with glorious charge. On top of that, elves receive +50% Armor, +100% Damage, +100% Combat Experience, fear resistance if you have legolas level 5, aragorn and theoden.
Yo, im currently playing on the 2.2 BFME1 patch from the all in one patcher - thx so much that im able to! I got a question regarding the Bot-Matchups in comparisson with pvp matchups against friends. So the Bots all have different production speeds on their Pits/barracks right, where the Hard bots have the highest? And practised rohan in many games in a 1v1 vs a Hardbot. But I found it impossible to gain early map control vs a Hardbot or at least hold it due to the overwhelming production speed of the bot in the eary stage of the game. I figured I can only beat the hardBots by scaling into highlvl Heroes/Troups and Powerpoints to be able to win. Am I just bad at the game or is it true that it is impossible to " snowball" a hardbot in the early game due to their high productionspeed? I would really like to be able to play an " ealry game" faction like rohan properly in a pvp-match and learn it. Thx so much for your work! best regards and you have my twitch prime ❤
I absolutely love the way you animated this, please do more!
It's good to have those guides for a better understanding of the game, especially for newcomers:)
You should do more of these love them ❤
We will make more but they take some time to make.
These videos are so helpful! Thanks!

Id love to see mordor guide bcs i cant learn how to play it good and this would help me a lot
That must be so time-consuming!! Thanks!!

HELLO, good video! 🌟💗
It’s not ultimate guide but very usefully for beginners. GJ man😉
Forth Eorlingas 🐎 🐴. Theoden, Eomer and Aragorn plus glorious charge is the definition of burst damage
My main Problem is actually when to recruit wich hero.

@@tomislavjakusmejarec163 Thank you for your detailed answer. :)

what about the archery ranch in the building order? so annoying to recruit yeoman archers to get the firearrows for the rohirim.
Step one :
get some horsies
step two: get Theoden
Step three: profit

Medium ai is so dumb even I can stomp it. Hard ai has me overhwhelmed in 5 minutes or less.

can you do build for Mordor and Isengard in this style, please?
the game is super fast due its being bound to FPS, can I somehow cap the FPS at 30?

had a save file at the white city. That crashed with the same error too. Must be something to do with mordor.

Are we never using elves in any build?
unfortunately. elves suck for rohan compared to rohirrim archers
