On one hand, the concept of Homegoing is breathtaking and I was so fortunate to read it while traveling through Ghana. To see that book come to life, was nothing short of transformational. But Transcendent Kingdom????!!!! Whoa! There were multiple points where I had to remind myself that the characters weren't real because I just wanted to reach out and touch them. I felt punched in the gut but in a good way! I can't wait to hear your thoughts.

I just wanted to mention that The Panopticon is actually care-experienced literature - Fagan grew up in care (foster care/residential children's homes) in the UK and this book is meant to reflect some of the experience of young people living in residential children's homes in the UK. Really hope that you enjoy it, i love that book so much! 🌱🌱🌱

I read Sundial after Needless Street but myself and most people I’ve seen online were disappointed, was very intrigued in the beginning and there was one good twist that comes to mind but otherwise I was not a fan of the huge storyline surrounding experimenting on dogs. Would also recommend googling the basic idea of CRISPR gene editing so you aren’t confused by the unexplained science that is pretty key to the story.
A book I would recommend to you is Temporary by Hilary Leichter. I loooooooove this book. A woman who works at a temp agency trying to find herself through bizarre job placements. Incredible!
