Black Panther of Sivanipalli by Kenneth Anderson | Adventure Audiobook | Audiostory

  • Kenneth Anderson heads to the hamlet of Sivanipalli, on the trail of a jet-black panther that has been killing local cattle. A black panther (leopard) is very rarely seen in the jungles and therefore, amongst the villagers at that time, there were a number of myths, mysteries, and legends associated with it. The story is set in 1934 in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

      I'm in Virginia USA
      A FRIEND CALLED ME YESTERDAY
She heard a news article about a lady that was sitting watching TV
      Minding her own business recently
She felt something watching her and there was a black panther looking in her window at her
      Said they can't walk outside.
      Let pets out
      Let's children play
Through history here in these mountains several people have seen them. Also some folks got pictures
Of course the cou ty said oh that's a house cat
No house cat is as big as a dang cougar
My brother was upset one night
Him and his girlfriend was up in Callaway and a black panther ran across the road in front of them
He said it had the longest tail
What he was upset about is he walked those roads as a boy.
      They are out there

Imagination is more powerful than reality. Though I have spent a large part of my childhood in village for months at a time and a place that would regularly be visited by jungle cats. Every year there would be three or four goats/sheep picked from the village and once even an infant from the next door, by a black 'bagharra'. I was never afraid to be there, but when I listening to your stories, they are hair-raising. So good are your book readings. Much appreciated Mr. Singh. Really entertaining.
