I love love love drawing leafy creatures just doing nothing, taking a nap in some big old forest. And I think that's why looking at your art brings me so much joy. It makes me feel so cozy, just like I'm the one falling asleep in a big flower field. And your videos are also so so good!! Thank you for sharing a little bit of your world with us

was lovely to get to know you better! I've been painting a ton of folk art inspired nature doodles, tulips and vines are my current obsession. I'm also super into spirals, so so satisfying to go in spirals with my paints. watercolour has been my number 1 lately 😊💘

My favorite thing to draw are kimonos, following a traditional shape but making up the patterns is so relaxing.
Everytime you say 'pre-blobenate' I always imagine a time in the future when you'd be a featured artist in art history books, and students would have to very seriously learn the term as an established painting technique. XD

Also that last painting that you've done recently, with the lady in the leaves, I thought that was digital!! Amazing. It's so crisp and clean!

Lovely video. I’ve been experimenting / working on filling a small royal talens sketchbook full of cats
I am still finding it tricky to draw people, so my favourite things to draw are animals and beetles. Recently I looked back over a series of drawings and all of the beetles reminded me of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ with their goofy little arms. Thanks for all your videos- I enjoy listening to you talk about your process, and the be-kind-to-yourself approach that you take with your art.

Awesome video, such an interesting journey. Loved your home videos and when you mentioned "connector pens" it brought back some good memories for me. Embarrassingly I still have some of thos pens in my collection. I love the idea that you have a "weird" colour palette, it's probably not weird at all and it's thinking outside the box. You do you! Oh and though I don't get much time for art or drawing I want to get better at drawing flowers as eventually I'd like to get into botanical illustration.

Would love to see the old prints! Instead of tossing them could they be repurposed like those thrift art videos?
I’ve used them for making new paper with Dodgy paper, or I use them as collaging or to mix paint on and I’ll pop them into big orders made in my shop or in discount sections when I do markets. They don’t go to waste 🧡
