hi, so im in my schools theatre program, and was just drafted to work the flys (tech week starts tomorrow and i found out id be working today.) my stage manager was gonna do them originally, but he doesn't have an assistant and asked me to do it for him. i have to ask, if i want to lower one of the curtains or the cyc, should i pull from the front line or back line?
A good way to think of it is this, raising the weights means lowering the bar, and the weights are in the back, so pulling down on the front line lowers the cyc and pulling down on the back line raises it!
