- We decided to slow it down and not to rush... We spent a good amount of time at our favorite mooring field in the Keys (Marathon City Marina). Here we got to catch up with some friends you all might be familiar with! @SailingSoulianis and @LearningtheLines and Billy showed them what it felt like to sail FAST ;) We then got on the move again and found a gem of a spot right on the sandbar for some awesome kiting on our new toy!

Amazing video guys. So much to love: the 'engagement photos,' tour of the spot, 14 knots on theCorsair, Billy foiling. But oh my god, the drone shots of Sierra screaming along on the kiteboard...and the music you chose for that was perfect. Actually got a lump in my throat. Wow.

Wow, place has really gotten nice! I came back to the states in 2004 and stayed there for 6 weeks while we made our boat holding tank legal, at the time HomeDepot had everything marine!

Great video. Loved the Drone footing of Sierra kiteboarding up and down the sandbar. The combination of her kiteboarding the scenery and the Trimaran and dingy as the backdrops I was expecting a voice over commercial of how great it is in the "blah blah blah" location as an advertisement. What a promo for The Corsica Tri Maran and the Kiteboard and inflatable Kite Wing and the action you have on a sandbar such as this.

I was at my house in Marathon on the ocean side of the Vaca Cut at the same time you where there. Wish we had a chance to catch up. I would like to have seen Jetty enjoy our yard. Maybe next time.
Been watching you guys from the beginning and it feels like we are a part of your life (or your a part of ours). Seeing you grow together and seeing your engagement pics (beautiful) really kind of confirmed that idea. Any way great pics, beautiful dress and best wishes always. BTW- those drone shots were some of the best yet.

Not sure if you've done this with this boat - in all the sailing shots the helm is in the cockpit. A joy on these boats is helming from the windward float - a long adjustable tiller extension (beach cat source) gets you there, adds another element of sailing to these boats.

Those sandbags are cool but yeah, watch a few TH-cam videos of them around Florida and they get crazy busy as the tide goes out.

I'm just wondering if you can get sealed bearings for your skate boards, they should keep all of the moisture out of the bearings so they don't rust. It might be worth checking into. Keep the good stuff coming.
Living the dream! We've got a 30' contour trimaran on the Chesapeake that we're gonna moor for the first time this weekend (hopefully). Is that the suggested mooring method from corsair? There's obviously a 1000 ways to skin a cat but this seems easiest. Do you just tie a knot to the pad eye on the float bow or have you spliced in a snap shackle/carabiner on the mooring lines? Looks like you've got about 12 or so feet on each side? Lookin' solid on the foil! Cool video thanks yall!

You need to buy the new porcelain bearings for your skateboard. They don’t lock up, ultra smooth and last a long time.

Your videos are terrific! How stable is your trimaran at anchor? Some have said, it is uncomfortable to live and sleep on a tri while anchored. The comments have been that it’s rocking more than a mono, and definitely more than a cat, while in port.
Great question! First off a bridle off the float bows is absolutely necessary to keep the tri stable into the wind on the hook otherwise it sails around too much. As for the rocking, when we are loaded up for cruising (even lightly loaded) it is super stable and really does not rock at all side to side because both floats sit touching the water. When it is completely empty and we stayed on it one float is out of the water and it does rock side to side just a bit but generally it really wasn’t too bad in a light chop

At what point does it make sense to moore/ anchor/dock with the amas folded? Does it ever, or is that just something that becomes relevant if trailering/shipping?
/how do you find that whole mechanism? I’ve always loved trimarans, and until I actually started researching the prospect of living that life, had no idea some models were capable of that... 🙏🙏
Only really makes sense to fold them in if trailering or trying to fit into a dock slip that is too skinny when they are folded out. The mechanism is very impressive and pretty simple to fold/unfold.
What was the cost of your trimaran?

Sierra: You say that your lips are painfully sunburned and I see that you are developing freckles. I am in Delray for 6 months only and I regularly have precancerous spots removed from my face. FL has plenty of dermatologists. Be smart and get yourself checked out before something bad develops.

Didn't they get the memo? Florida is supposed to be mask free! That rule would be a huge turn off for me - enough to find another marina that would let people decide whether they wanted to wear one or not.
You do not want to be in marathon.
