Thank you for saying so!! I try to keep in mind that its hard to process new words/concepts.... I think some educators have been educated for so long that they forget what it's like when it's all new
@@AnatomyHero I agree with you. I have had many professors that have seemed to be that way. I will continue watching your videos as I get through A&p 1 so that I can apply for nursing school. Thanks for the great content!
You can also try writing yourself a list of the common English words and then seeing if you can fill in the anatomical word...for example 1) head 2) neck 3) chin ..... etc! That will help you figure out which ones you are having trouble remembering and then you can only focus on what you DON'T know! Good luck in your studies!
You're so welcome! I'm glad it helped! Once you get the terms down, if you want to practice, I made a video quiz as a sort of "practice practical"...I give about 1 minute for the questions and the flip to the answer th-cam.com/video/7iOVa4FOi6o/w-d-xo.html
My lab partner and I really appreciate these videos. Any chance you can do over Cell Division? Having trouble with identifying the different phases on some of the slides, the cartoon ones are good, but the slide ones are less clear for me.

So I finally got around to reading more about it and found something interesting..The reason I was confused was because of the dual meaning of mental being related to mind/thought(latin for mind = mens)...and apparently it's theorized that the word for chin is mentum because touching the chin is a gesture associated with thought/pondering. It could also just be a coincidence that the words are so close, but it's an interesting idea at least!
Love this video. So perfectly organized making it so easy to understand 🙌 thank you 🫶
your videos are very simple and your tone of voice is easy to listen too. thank you

Very helpful video, thank you so much
the Latin word for "chin" is mentum. Thus....the mental region
Thanks for the info!
