I think I have a few local competition guys who are pushing the boundaries of how high a voltage you can run. And the power supplies seem to be taking the brunt of it.
Yes they are, everyone is under the assumption that as close to 16v as possible is the way to go, regardless of topology, design, etc 🤦🏼 I’ve been telling everyone not to push past 15.3v, and concentrate on more reserve vs more voltage. Either happen to know the outputs on this? Just got one, non-destructive output failure, except a Mylar near speaker terminals 😅 …and everything is an H9 or C5 lol
If used normally, they all work. Name brand Korean style is a mature tech, and is a little more robust as long as you stay away from the super cheap ones.
Good to see you Damon. I am surprised that the output was OK on this one.

@@Crazylogix007 This seems to be more common with all of the lithium cells coming out.

Great video again Damon. I yet to try to fix a board with SMD yet.
You can do it! Just find a junker board to practice on.
Deaf Bonce Apocalypse is Zaluuppa from russia !
I wonder was hard clipping frayed those power mosfets🤔 I am surprised this board did not crack or chip being that hot😮
Hard clipping can destroy lots of things. I do not recommend it lol.
I gt the same amp and i need it repaired
What are the reference driver chip pleas ?
Why are Korean boards superior to these Brazilian boards? does it make a huge difference on big systems?
