Trivia about her outfit : If you look closely Eyja's outfit didn't differ that much from her caster version mostly because of the coat. And when doing research, she wears it because she feel like her parents were still around

Honestly, Eyja's theme makes me unreasonably sad too. Part of her story is that she lost her parents to a volcanic eruption, and carried on their research and legacy, becoming an accomplished academic and field researcher at an astonishingly young age. Unfortunately, her research involves her spending a lot of time near active originium near volcanoes, which is believed to be how she got infected. The lines that about being unable to see or hear the remnants of what her loved ones left for her being direct allusions to the severity of her condition, and while not outright stated, the line "What if i closed my eyes and drifted till forever to find you", feels very much like she's considering death, since the idea of sleeping forever is typically a euphemism for death, the fact that "what if i close my eyes" implies it's voluntary, and if the song is indeed about her parents, the only way she could find them is in her own death.
Jessica Alter is honestly one of my favourite characters. From what I've seen, she's still a bit of a crybaby but honestly it makes her a lot healthier than other operators bottling everything up. Now she lives in the wild living life day to day creating her own identity rather than living as Jessica of Blacksteel or Jessica of the Brynley family. (Also physically really strong now to everyone's surprise lmao)
a quick note on infection, if someone is treated early on they can show no symptoms at all including no stones on skin (eg: getting cut by industrial equipment can put stones in the blood stream but quick treatment would prevent formation on the skin) and also some infections are internal so lung infections will take a while to get to the skin assuming it goes untreated
Typhon's face on the beginning was like: "oh, that was your big fat boss with tons of hp? oh, sorry, I wasn't... but why if so he died so fast?" PS She is a new broken boss killer.
@georgieegames she is the same archetype of rosa so theres the ignore defense (so essentially partial true damage), skill 3 has multi hit (4 hits per attack) and the class (besieger) gives her a high attack stat downside is 6 shots thats it and the arrows hit enemies randomly in the tiles surrounding the target as well so gota clear the space so the arrows only find the boss (also note their ignore defense is a bit differant in that typhoon has to charge up her ignore defense up to 40% without potentials while rosa doesnt need to charge but only heavy enemies)
God.. Eyja's theme is just painful when knowing her story. "What if I closed my eyes and drifted to forever to find you" stops being cute and is borderline macabre (since, you know, both her parents died, and she's pretty close to death due to oripathy)
I really really waiting forward to this one especially Eyja theme, just immersed with lyric and her lore never fails to make me teary. I really love it.

The thing with Eyjafjalla isn't that she's one of the most infected, there are others with higher levels than her although hers is still quite high. It's just that her oripathy symptoms have manifested themselves in her hearing loss and are now slowly causing sight loss too. She's not blind, just impaired, but her hearing loss is quite bad. A lot of the AK community started joking early on that because she has the most obvious symptoms it meant she was dying, and that has gone on for so long that the original joke has been lost to the point where now so many people actually think that is happening. It's not, she's still healthy barring the hearing loss and slow vision loss.
Her hearin loss is quite bad is a bit of an understandment as of her Alter. Her trust tap mentions doc using sign language incorrectly to make her laugh. That's a huge step up from her just having hearing aids.

In the event itself she's still talking to people, and in her voice lines she's still able to talk to people as well. Her hearing will have definitely gotten worse, but it's still not gonna be at the stage where the hearing aids do little to help.
Mortal Eye and Water Quench are literally my 2 favs out of these (i have listened to these 2 songs far too many times now alongside "Stained" (executor alter theme) and I can't stop) In fact... I even have this tiny little private project of mine when it comes to Mortal Eye.... which has to do with making a swedish version of it sung by myself alongside some others... it's not finished yet but it's going well since me and another (who'll sing with me) have already finished with the swedish lyrics to this song (it took a while since we had to change out things to make it fit better with the music but now that it's finished all we need to do now is just get time to record in our voices whenever we have the time since rn we don't actually have much time to do so unfortunetly... due to place and timing.... which is why the progress has been slow)

I don't know much about her since she and IS4 haven't released in Global yet, but Typhon is from Sami and is heavily involved with the secret war that Sami and Ursus are waging with the Northern Demons/Colapsals (who are multi-dimensional reality corrupting entities), and she quite literally uses the Colapsals to fight the Colapsals, as just like how the Ursus Emperor Blades have fragments of Colapsals contained within their armor, Typhon's massive arrows are also made with Colapsal fragments. 14:07 Yeah, Eyja Alter's event and this song are heavily involved with her parents who died long ago. 16:10 Eyja Alter is a Wandering Medic (so elemental damage healer like Honeyberry and Mulberry), she also have global range on her S3. Which is a super fitting change when you consider that Eyja obviously basically a living volcano, so her base form as a Caster is representative of the destructive aspects, while her Alter form as a Medic is representative of the new life that comes from the mineral rich ash enriching the soil.
In start of Jessica's OST song you can see Doctor on the bottom right, but as her lyrics become more self-confident he leaves - our Scaredy Cat no longer needs to be watched for, she is grown now.

Fun fact, but that name and the title of the event "So Long, Adele" ( Eyjafjalla`s real name is Adele ) led сommunity to the idea that she would die in this event. Because Adele's oripathy level is one of the highest among the operators( not counting Ifrit and Amiya ). In fact, she has one foot in the grave. But thank goodness we were wrong...😅
So Hoederer's theme is talking about how he feels about Theresis and the war they want to declare on everyone, as well as all the shit he's been through and done as a mercenary. Theresis basically wants revenge on the world for what it's done to Kazdel time and time again. The Sarkaz have had it rough... all the other races except Laterano are basically aliens, and the Sarkaz are the original inhabitants of Terra. Partially because of this, the Sarkaz are more prone to get Oripathy than other races, and most Sarkaz are infected at birth. This, combined with ancient witchcraft, makes them insanely strong as soldiers and mercenaries, but they're hated and feared by most races (in part due to being Infected, in part because their witchcraft is genuinely horrifying). Kazdel has tried to unify many times but either internal divisions or external enemies always tear the country apart. And at least once it was Kal'tsit's fault. In a sense Hoederer's life is the life of an average Sarkaz, so the grief in his song is a reflection of how the Sarkaz feel.
We all go fooled by Typhon's horns, but IIRC they are fake, it's an headband passed down in her family, we can see a bit of black around her head during her ost.
Typhon (first song) is a Sarkaz, she might actually even be part Wendigo (Patriot's clan). We don't know a lot about her origin, but she's spent at least some time in the far north, where his clan hold the line against some of the nastiest stuff in the setting, since her arrows are made out materials created by said horrors. Interestingly, there are some other species who have horns and tails that are rather similar in the setting including the very dragon like Draco's and Vouivre's. But Typhon is indeed a Sarkaz.
The constant mispronunciation of Eyjafjalla's name is causing me pain. It's an Icelandic word, short for a volcano called Ejyafjalljokoll. The j's are pronounced like y's.
Yes, It's though decision and it was a difficult choice,.. because Scout make a lot commotion to draw enemy eyes to him to save amiya team when they save doctor.. So, to avoid suspicion from Theresis and Reunion, Hoederer and W had to kill Scout. But I don't know man.. still sad because scout before join Rhodes Island he is most trusted member on Hoederer squad.

Typhon (first song) is a Sarkaz, she might actually even be part Wendigo (Patriot's clan). We don't know a lot about her origin, but she's spent at least some time in the far north, where his clan hold the line against some of the nastiest stuff in the setting, since her arrows are made out materials created by said horrors.
Interestingly, there are some other species who have horns and tails that are rather similar in the setting including the very dragon like Draco's and Vouivre's. But Typhon is indeed a Sarkaz.

The constant mispronunciation of Eyjafjalla's name is causing me pain. It's an Icelandic word, short for a volcano called Ejyafjalljokoll. The j's are pronounced like y's.

Yes, It's though decision and it was a difficult choice,.. because Scout make a lot commotion to draw enemy eyes to him to save amiya team when they save doctor.. So, to avoid suspicion from Theresis and Reunion, Hoederer and W had to kill Scout. But I don't know man.. still sad because scout before join Rhodes Island he is most trusted member on Hoederer squad.
