Agreed. There is a poignancy about him, a little wounded as a child half expecting and fearing we won't listen or understand, yet beseeching, laying himself open, and with the deepest of caring and hope for all of us.
The "ugly baby" part of this is one of the most direct, searing, and beautiful passages I've heard speak.
Aside - I've heard a few bits of his story -- sounds amazing and worth looking into more (he was supposedly identified as the reincarnated "savior" of mankind by a rich Russian woman behind the theosophy movement and was taken in and trained by her in this role only to reject it all later -- saying he was no messianic savior...)

Even after some 60 years listening, Krishnaji remains as fresh as a newly formed blossom. The challenge is not to see him as any 'authority' or guru, which he would abhor. Rather to listen with every vestige of your being to the words, as if they were as a whispering of the wind, free and ungoverned and pure. After 60 years that remains an immense challenge, yet a constant in my life.

To live with 'what is' is a key mindset of being at peace. It requires being aware of thoughts/feelings/sensations (eg envy, doubt, anxiety) and having the courage to be with these t/f/s, and faith in the process. It requires regular practice.

Remarkable how the vastness of language perpetuates endless circles of confusion regarding all of life's circumstances. Yet, K has the ability to masterfully tap into its depths and skillfully gather enough terminology loaded with societal misnomers to then craft a truly transformational concept, step by step, to be realized.
My appreciation is total for this speaker. For the seeds that we have sewn together I'm utterly certain will blossom into untold eternal joy!
May your lotus also blossom with just as much beauty and vitality.

And in the sequence, Someone wants to be the number one, destroying the opponent , defeating brutally him. How can you love who claims to be better than you, prove it and annihilate you? Envy is created not just by thought, it arises out of a biological instinct of self preservation( and Self enhancement). It will continue to exist even when one observes it with total attention. The difference being that in the process of observation, one realizes that s/he is only a witness of the envy and not the entity that suffers. Thus being able to see the situation objectively, envy looses its grip.

    If
" what is" defines a state, then, all the manifestations of duality, along with conflict and violence, vanish with that understanding. The introspective mind comes to functionality, and only that much " action" as is required to secure the basics of subsistence, viz., food, clothing, and shelter befitting human dignity,is required to be performed. In this state of complete inaction, mind performs right action. In the state of "what is" there is every possibility of peace and harmony because it encompasses not only humanity ,but entire living beings. It is oneness,Advaita.
