There used to be an arcade with a mini golf. The arcade's big draw was B17 gunner trainer. Goodwin's used to sell Charms lollipops. If you bought one and it had a "Winner" sticker. You got a free one. There used to be a big slide. You'd slide down on a burlap bag that always slipped out from under you and you enjoyed plastic burns on the backs of your legs.
That lake dries up at times of drought its full now only because the recent California good rains we just had last Nevertheless it's a beautiful place I worked there as a Angeles National Forest Service Technician but Pinon Ridge Valyermo was my main area✌
