    Thanks, I wish I had labeled my chairs before I took them apart. I had the genius on the last one. It will be fun screwing them back together.

    I like the ticking stripe. I think it goes with the brighter white color of the chairs better. Not a huge fan of the white and off white together. But any would be beautiful. Looking forward to what you choose.

    I hope you can look into getting a professional upholstery staple remover. My husband still has his from working during High School for an upholsterer. No more screw drivers that take forever!
    I also have this exact dining set. I painted it grey, watered down white and put a wash over it. It looks great, as does yours! 👍 💕

    Hello Christine, what a wonderful transformation!!! I was hoping you would use the solid fabric on the majority of the chairs with the captain chairs being a different fabric! Everything looks so fresh and bright!! And you had some very sweet company while you worked!😊. Love those doggie babies😊. Take care and be blessed. Your friend, Diane😊❤

    Have you heard of the TH-cam channel Woodworking with Wes? He's doing an interesting technique with golden oak called cherusing. Basically using white or off white paint to cover the base golden color with black or gray to glaze into the grain. It might have been an option for the tabletop.

    I absolutely love the grain sack fabric. Beautiful job! Question: how has the painted cane held up? I saw somewhere that you shouldn't paint cane on both sides because it needs to breathe or it becomes brittle. What can you tell me about this?

    • @christinescreations9029
      @christinescreations9029  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. Sorry I just saw your comment. The painted cane has held up Great!... and they get lots of use so I totally will do it again, no chips or flaking at all. Thanks so much!

      And I didn t understand how the seats were finished around?!!
