I could've gotten your top pick, the amaztim, for only $60 by picking a pink band. Fine with me, but the watch is too dang big, so I got the Tozo S5. A $10 off coupon just came up on Amazon yesterday, bringing the price down to $50. Thanks for the review...but I wish people would talk about how the watches' controls work on audio apps (podcasts, music, TH-cam)
I typically initiate use of audio on my phone through different apps (eg Audible, TH-cam, YT Music, Libby, etc.) Can these watches then control those apps with pause/play/rewind/ff functions? My klunky 1st Gen Google watch from 2014 could do that.
@@TopPick3 Thanks sooo much for the reply. I ordered the Tozo late last night after Amazon tempted me with an add'l $10 off coupon. It's smaller than the AMAZTIM (which was available for only $60 if you don't mind pink, which I actually like. I listen to podcasts, books, youtube, etc while doing boring household chores. Back in the day with the original GWatch, which I got from one of my son's Google coworkers the month it came out (Dec 2014, 6 months before the first Apple watch...but the GWatch was an ugly klunker, and Apple's was, of course, a MUCH more appealing design.) But I do remember, when my husband would walk into the kitchen talking and my hands were too wet to pause my audio so I could hear him, just hitting the pause button with my nose!
@@TopPick3 Well, I tried the Tozo S5, and its audio controls suck. Any feedback on the AMAZTIM's audio controls, which was your first rec? I can get it for $45 in pink, and, after all, I'm a girl. Here's what I didn't like about the S5 controls. Would love your feedback on the AMAZTIM...it's sitting in my cart right now from your link. Do the AMAZTIM's audio controls have FF & RW as well as stop & go? (feel free to add the below to your S5 review for us audiophiles) 1.) The audio player forgets what I was listening to (say, podcast or audiobook app) after more than a minute or 2, and automatically defaults to playing whatever's up on TH-cam, whether I was actually playing/pausing something there or not. (I don't use YT autoplay) 2.) After a minute or so, the audio player doesn't automatically come up when I push the button on the upper right. It defaults back to multiple choices. So I have to push the physical button, choose the audio app, and hit pause - 3 actions to pause audio while my husband's talking to me and I'm trying to hear what he's saying. 3.) It has a ff and rewind buttons. But they don't default to whatever I've set on my audio app. Instead, it only rewinds FIVE seconds. And it rewinds whether I push the forward or rewind button, so I can't FF through ads on my podcast app at all. And doing it 5 seconds at a time would be torture, even if FF actually worked. Oddly, my nearly TEN YEAR OLD Google watch (yes, it came out 6 months b4 the first Apple watch) could do all of those things really well. I've actually lost it, but would think about digging it up if I could find it...but its battery probably wouldn't last even a full day by now. I used to be able to charge it while I showered :)
I just received my watch on 11/19/24 and as I was taking it out from the box, the side screw fell off. Worst experience trying to contact them, and they will not refund me or switch for another watch.
Nothing is over $100, the premium one I say at the end is currently $99. First option is currently $50 and the second one is currently $25.50. These all seem budget to me, when most smartwatches like Apples are in the $700-$1,000 range.

Yes. These will all handle the playback controls.

Does your phone have to b a certain distance from the watches? This is all new to me💁♀️
From my old watch, you can walk away from your phone at a decent distance. Each smartwatch is different.
What were your issues with the nerunsa step counter? Was the step counter accurate? This is a important feature for me with purchasing a smartwatch

over 100 dollars is not budget, clickbait

I'd love the pink watchband. If you choose that, it's only $45. If you don't like pink, buy a compatible band for $15-20
