Well done Jay always great watching your vids. As an Aussie who's flown in and out of ORD over the years, It'll be great to capture that inaugural QANTAS 787 flight hopefully when life returns to normal. Hope you had a great Christmas and i wish you well for the new year.
Hi Jay.Amazing and breathtaking catches from this particular point of filming.Wish you the best for 2021 my friend to you and your family and please stay safe.
Excellent work Jay!!! Thinking there was a little pucker factor for some of those landings. Merry Christmas to you and your family and may 2021 be a better year for us all.
Thanks 4 stopping by! I use the Sony AX-53, no tripod and I use a simply free video converter and combiner, very little editing at all for these videos except putting the clips together in an order.
@@OHAREAVIATION okay thank you. But what is your video combiner called exactly? I ask because my video combiner reduces the quality of my videos and it really bugs me, but yours seems to export video in pretty good quality.
Hiya Jay! This is your old slug buddy, Guerry. I'm sorry that I haven't been around for a while. But let's just say that this old soldier has some of his past medial inconveniences revisiting him again. It has nothing to so with Covid-19, so feel free to not wear a mask as you read this. Anyway, I just opened up your post and will start viewing that home town junkyard that you in Chicago call, "O'Hare Airport". I AM JUST KIDDING!!! Actually, it will take me a while to view your entire video, so I just wanted to make a quick comment so you know that I am still alive and very well, and that still maintain my complete lack of humor. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish watching your labor of love before it becomes ancient history. If I can swing it, I'll mention some of the highlights I found most interesting to me. Thank-you so much for taking the time to provide us these scenes from O'Hare. I truly appreciate your effort!
Thanks 4 stopping by! it is always the highlight of the video to read your comment, Guerry and I always look forward to your viewership. hope you had a merry Christmas and I wish you a happy new year!
Awesome stuff! I was checking the weather for tomorrow (the 27th) and it looks like winds are going to be similar to what it was on that Wednesday the 23rd. You think they’ll use 22 flow again?
possibly... the wind has to be strong at least 20 kts sustained with gusts over 40 and almost directly out of the south for them to use 22L. Thanks for watching!
@03:28 I had visions of the Qatar A350 landing gear snapping off and flying through the air, as the aircraft suddenly lost altitude at the last minute! Fortunately, the pilot caught it just in time, phew :-()
Love these end of runway videos. Shows a different perspective of the planes

How come the a380 is not coming to chicago
no demand for it at the moment. in future it may... but remember they aren't even flying them to LAX right now the way they used to.
True but even before the pandemic they were not really going there to chicago
I miss the AA triples at ORD ☹️
