I was not a fan of her acting style in View to A Kill but she nailed this character as it was closer to her actual persona. She was outrageous, multi-lingual, and worldly. The social/entertainment space has not been the same since she stepped away from it. The perfume testing (background voices when she removed her panties) and restaurant scenes were outrageous but worked so well with her personality in the movie.
Grace was simply being HERSELF!!!!! This scene (among the many with her.) was superb!!!!! Hilarious! A real freak to play a freak. But the freak that she is was even freakier in real life vs. this role. I love it!
@@Starkardur Oh yes it was! The level of street crime/theft is much higher in 2024. The level of subway violence is much higher in 2024! The level of violence associated with the immigration/migrant crisis is high. Property squatting was not even on the radar back then.

Actually most of the casting in X-Men films (Xavier and Deadpool were good) were unfitting compared to the casting choices in Spider-Man. Halle Berry can nowhere near pass off as African, she's not tall like the character, and her lines are cringe especially towards Toad.
