Shout out to my boy Mahaujah Turner who did ALL of Sweetness's skate scenes and trained Westley Jonathan, and Mike Johnson (RIP) who did all of Lil Bow Wow's skating scenes.
The pinnacles of childhood roller skating were: learning how to skate backwards, being able to skate 5 songs straight without falling or bumping into someone, and getting so good, you brought your own skates.
I remember watching the movie a lot as a kid. Then later becoming a huge fan of Vampire Diaries, then watching this movie again and saying “SHIT I THOUGHT I SAW STEFAN BEFORE!!”
