I was only diagnosed with Chrons about 3 weeks ago - this channel is by far the best I have found and helped provide me with a realistic viewpoint of what it's like to live with chrons! It's really helped me learn to accept my new diagnosis and prepare myself to manage the condition in future - thankyou for making these videos!
Hello! I was diagnosed 3 years ago. On corticosteroids for about a year. This November I’ve started to feel a back pain. And now I’m laying in the bad for 3 weeks with compression fracture. I’m so afraid...Please, see a doctor when you noticed any pain in your body. Thank you for this videos, they make me feel so much better.
I think your you tude for me has been god sent. I feel I've learnt more n stayed a bit more positive. Due to covid-19 I have been left for longer periods then maybe I would have been since 27/7/20...I've now waiting for funding for infliximab as nothing has worried so far. I finally spoke to my IBD nurse and she helped me understand what was going on and had time to explain. I feel helpless n I dont know what to do feel I'm mourning but I dont know how to do this...you all made me feel a bit more positive. Being on my own makes it so hard. First caller I connected with her story....since 2012 I have been miss diagnosed. I the carer for my partner n son with ADHD and learning disorder.
Fab video thanks for sharing. Only recently found your content and it's actually crazy how quickly its helped me feel part of a wider community who actually understands what it's like on a day to day basis. To see people still thriving despite all of the difficulties that IBD brings is really heartening. keep it up 💚
suddenly i discover this channel n i thought u will not update anymore, ur channel is sssuuuppppeeeerrrr and ssssooooo helpful *crying* now i see the notification from ur channel n I'm so happpyyy . thank u all
I keep dropping in magnesium n I'm tired n exhausted. Out of breath taking two steps n feel sicker....my muscles hurt too I feel lost in the sea if information. And I feel I'm not in control...n holistic medication I agree with they dont talk about. I feel I'm being pushed towards what they want to do n change medication constantly but dont explain why....
@@GUTINSTINCT Hi, I have spoken to my IBD nurse in the past but they just dismiss anything I say. I always tell them I am experiencing a lot of fatigue with my medication which is Azathioprine and they just say that’s just the side effects and I have to just deal with it.
@@Nicole-zt1cf Unfortunately fatigue can be a really big part of IBD (it's definitely one of the core symptoms I suffer with) but there may be supplements you can take to help relieve it slightly - try talking to your doctor to see if you can get any better advice 🧡

Hello, Nicole 👋 I'm not medically trained to be able to give advice on medication - have you spoken to your pharmacist or GP? 🧡
