The LA-AR-SE (Land, Air, Sea) Insertion parka is the ultimate in cold weather insulation clothing.
Designed and developed from experiences on operations, whilst working in open vehicles with a windchill factor of -30°C, we effectively wanted to develop a waterproof parka that could be worn over the top of everything: clothing, body armour, chest rigs and even belt kit.
Whatever ever your insertion method is by land, air or sea, this parka is designed to to keep you as dry and warm as possible until your destination is reached. The Parka can then be removed quickly and either hung up by carabiner or packed away, ready for when you return, where you simply throw over all of your kit, zip it up and stay warm.
Cleverly built into the design is a retractable fishtail that can be dropped down - this stops the parka riding up at the back even when belt kit is worn. The fishtail also has pop stud fittings which can be fixed into the front of the parka to create individual legs for mobility. This jacket covers most of the body from the knees to the neck. The fishtail can also be stowed away at the back to allow for greater movement if needed.
The LAARSE Parka has reinforced 330 denier nylon panels on the lower arms, fishtail and back to give extra abrasion resistance.
