    One of the greatest church scandals is how unaware most Christians are of Dr. Craig's work. Invaluable!

    William Lane Craig is one of the greatest religious apologists there is. I've followed him for years. The only difficulty for many of those in the world that don't adhere to or follow any particular "Religious" doctrine or mainstream mode of being is that the "Christian" Apologist is coming from that unique perspective that doesn't allow for Pluralism and teaches the exclusivity of the Christian belief system as the ONLY way to know "God". Without getting into the need to define terms before engaging in any meaningful discussion on any topic, I feel that the a non exlcusive approach that discusses the "God" question but sets aside for a moment, the exclusivity of Christian belief is the most advantageous starting point with anyone else, no matter what "Religious' beliefs they do or do not adhere to. It just makes the discussion easier to begin with a wider variety of folks and stands a better chance of resulting in intelligent discussion and thought rather than allowing emotions to overtake the dialogue. WLC is the best and it's great to see this man still going strong in this field.

      @Aspect617 I hope that is not true. My hope is in the Lord, in Jesus for the forgiveness of my sins. It's not in Craig. But I have been thinking about "young/old/Biblical" times regarding earth years, but no matter the minutia my hope is in the Lord.

      @Aspect617 That's not true. Craig believes that Jesus is fully human and fully God. Evolution is not a litmus test for salvation. Only faith in the Gospel is that.

    About 8 years ago, I had read Richard Dawkins. I was drawn in to atheism. Then into nihilism. At that time I believed that life has no purpose, no meaning, there is neither good nor evil. There is only survival of the fittest. I had lost all hope about life. I even contemplated suicide.
    Until one day I stumbled upon a video of Dr. William Lane Craig.
    I am no longer an atheist..............
    My eyes were opened to the shoddy philosophy, erroneous logic and incomplete science that the likes of Dawkins are touting and purporting as accurate and final.
    Thank God for Dr. William Lane Craig.......I am alive today.......
    There is still a long way for me to go, but atleast I know why I should go.
    God bless you Dr. Craig...........

    I love 32:25, it shows how humble Dr Craig is, he doesn’t really “think” of himself as much as he thinks of others and esteem them, he really is doing all of this for the Lord. My deepest thanks for all he’s done.

    Somewhat surprised to hear Dr. Craig include Texas A&M in the list of potential college options he gave his kids. I don’t think it’s a bad suggestion, as I’m a 3rd year student at TAMU and I think it’s a fine school as far as state colleges are concerned, and it is probably the public school with the closest thing to “conservative” values. But there is definitely no lack of a progressive, post-modernist side to the faculty or students here, especially in the liberal arts. But I’m not dogging on Craig or TAMU, bc I agree that it’s one of if not the best options for a value centered public school. I just don’t want people to get the wrong idea that it’s a “Christian Conservative school with traditional values” because at the end of the day, it’s still a school run by the government and bends the knee to modern leftism more than many think

    Anybody have a suggestion for a book regarding those 9 rules of logic Dr Craig is speaking about?

    • @ReasonableFaithOrg
      @ReasonableFaithOrg  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dr. Craig published a book called Learning Logic where you can find them: www.amazon.com/Learning-Logic-William-Lane-Craig/dp/1502713764. You can also find the laws of logic in his book with J. P. Moreland, Philosophical Foundations for a Christian Worldview. - RF Admin

    Tje postmodern sentiment and mindset is most blatant seen and experience in all the woke culture being rammed on everyone's throat these days. This is not 'modern' but as it's been said, 'modernism gone to seed'.

    The Qur’an doesn’t get it wrong. It states that ‘it appeared to them’ that he was crucified. People write what appears to them. This is a theological belief.

    • @scottbuchanan9426
      @scottbuchanan9426 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is misleading. The phrase "it appeared to them" is designed to imply that Jesus was not successfully crucified *in fact*, despite the perceptual experiences of those who were present at the time. This in turn is designed to undermine claims concerning the resurrection: if Jesus didn't actually die on the cross, then he could not have been resurrected. Your statement is not intellectually honest.
