  • DC offset is a reality that must be dealt with in precision designs. In short, it's an undesired DC output voltage that can create an ambiguity in the true DC output level. We examine the causes of DC offset and investigate issues and challenges involved with simulating it.

    I'm amazed by how much I have continued to learn since leaving school 12 years ago when I left after completing just one year. I can predict the definitions of termed conditions and operating characteristics whether I covered the subject in school and it's foggy, or I never happened to cross it's path formally.

      Not quite sure what you're asking. A composite could refer to an op amp made from discrete components (versus integrated).
