Hi Simone, it’s quite a while ago now, but thinking back I’m pretty sure I only used autofocus. I would usually use manual focus if I’m using a tripod or making some portraits. However the distortion this lens creates is profound, so bear that in mind. You may want to do some correction in your photo editing. Thanks for watching!
@@MattJNeale actually i use that lens on my 5d mark iv, super Sharp at 2.8 but yes, he has a lot of distortion. After all, I think it's normal at a focal length of 14mm
@@simonepusceddu44 ahh nice! I haven’t used it in months to be honest with you. I should probably give it a run out soon, and, I’ll try out manual focusing!
I think you may have accidentally commented on the wrong video. If you’re talking about the latest one in Kazakhstan, I agree. I actually did try out the photos in B&W but decided against it in the end, mainly because I wanted to give viewers a proper sense of what this place feels like. Thanks for watching.
That bloody strap. It's coming off for the next one.
Very nicely done 👍
I'm planning something similar myself 😁
Thanks a lot, you’ll have to let me know when you’ve uploaded!
@@MattJNeale sure mate will do 👍
@Cimrak 20ad Thanks for this, it's been reported as spam - not sure what you expected 😂
Hey nice shots, did you use the samyang 14mm without autofocus? How did you feel with manual focus?

Typical left-over Soviet bad architecture. Depressing. Perhaps the photos could look better in B&W.

@@MattJNeale I stand corrected. Kazakhstan video.
@@trix-4656 You think kz is depressing? Go find Murino (St. Petersburg) and you'll change your mind
