    If you're wondering about my upcoming online training course, I've been parsing the data collected from your surveys to make a curriculum that fits what people want to learn. It's pretty complicated and I'm trying to do it right. So I'll be in touch soon with updates - I haven't forgotten! (If you want to take the survey: bit.ly/2tkl49Y)

    You can say I'm copying your point, but this is exactly what I found out for my sequence reference/master. When I first start in this career, I realized "music is life of video". Love this channel, that's why

    Really good one, as i started in music production before video i am always try to build this momentums and aha moments with the different audio elements, pregnant pauses are so important same as mix natural sounds with fx to create more alive moments. You are on top on this brandon. I think audio mixing and editing have a lot of similar creative aspects.
    BTW Thanks for your meet up in London! It was an incredible opportunity, really appreciated it

    Nice video! I think picking the right music is often the hardest part of editing, especially if done after hours of editing. So an additional tip is to pick the music before editing, or at least having an idea in your head about tempo and theme.

    This couldn’t come at a better time. I’ve a client and they want to start off the video with an upbeat tempo and then end with a more melancholic indie music. It’s for a bag company and the first scenes are the bag being used in the city and the second part is the craftsmanship on how the leather bag is being made. Any tips how to pull this off? Transitioning from upbeat tempo to a slow indie feel sound. Also, you’re awesome

    • @FollowingtheWhiteRabbit
      @FollowingtheWhiteRabbit 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gio Lee, Maybe with a music break in the middle like Brandon did, usingrecorded sound? Or figuring out if lowering down the first track and putting the beginning of the second one on the beat can work...

    • @giolee1274
      @giolee1274 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Following the White Rabbit thank you for the tip. I actually did have a break but it felt like the continuity was a bit off. I’m thinking of placing the interview footage in the middle then transitioning to the more mellow soft track. Hope it works.

    I love artlist, it's so useful! Out of curiosity, what are your favorite search parameters to listen through for finding tracks? I always try to find the big epic cinematic tracks, but was just wondering what you prefer? Keep up the good work!

    • @BrandonLiUnscripted
      @BrandonLiUnscripted  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I ususally search by mood first so I allow myself to be surprised by the genre. Most often I search by Dramatic, Tense, Inspiring. I'm usually on the lookout for tracks with more tension but less bombast (I don't need a Pirates of the Caribbean score). Then I narrow by tempo and sometimes genre.
