In the last few years Ive noticed an awful lot of people trying to join motorways at 45mph. Is it taught to new puplils that the speed limit of a Motorway On Slip road is 70mph? Why are there so many idiots trying to force HGVs to move over when they join a motorway? Why are there so many cars on motorways thesedays that wont go much faster than 50mph? I shouldnt be overtaking cars all day in my Artic, but I am. I know this has nothing to do with your viddo title, but it came onto my feed and you are an instructor so I thought Id ask.
I completely understand your frustration, it's not easy to slow a 40 ton lorry when someone pulls out too slow from the slip road. Learners have only been allowed on Motorways since 2018. We teach to use the acceleration lane to get up to a speed which matches the flow of the traffic. Prior to 2018 although we offered post test motorway lessons very few people actually took them.
