- We're finally done with the Arcade Modes for Tekken but this series still has a couple bosses left. Today we go through the Tekken 7 Story Mode measuring Devil Kazuya's strength in order to find a boss that can beat Jinpachi's record. I also want to disclaim that I'm in no way an example of a good player clearing hard content, this is more of a mean for me to have fun with the games I love, adding a little bit of spice and competition among the games themselves.

We play through the arcade modes of the Tekken games in order to figure out which one is the hardest. Difficulty is set to the hardest and the arcade run must be done with the main character of each game. The Boss that takes the most tries is the deemed the hardest Tekken Boss!

Getting hit by the rage art from Devil Kazuya will always give you max health, you can cheese the fight just by getting hit by it on purpose.

Yeah I tried doing it again later and it worked again, it's really dumb, idk how such a big is still in the game
I'm not sure if it is intentional though, to point out the resilience of Heihachi towards magic damage. If I'm not mistaken he has an unnatural resistance towards this kind of attacks.
However it would make sense if you would take some of the life back instead of outright giving you full health. It could also be a failsafe adopted by namco to avoid a sort of hardlock during that sequence, you're playing a different version of Heihachi here in what I think is a scripted encounter which should follow specific patterns.

Getting Hit By D.K RA Basically Is An Equalizer To The Armor That Kazuya Has, So The Full Health It's Just A "Checkpoint" On The Progression To Make You Don't Have A Chance To F*ck The Round Up.

@@takarin64 In Tekken 8, there is a video that reveals that there's a Stage 8 boss battle against him in arcade mode. PLUS, the trailer showed Devil Kazuya taking it a step further by ascending into a pure blue devil form after absorbing the power of Azazel, the boss of Tekken 6

I got stuck on kazumi for a few tries because I didn't know if I had to hit her or stay away because both times it ended the same. I just didn't hit her enough but boy does it take some effort to break her instakill

I don't know how much it differs, but I fight Kazuya in the 5 star difficulty and everytime he hits me with the rage art I always died, never I got my health back up... So yeah, that win doesn't feel great to be honest.
Tekken AI to this day, even in 8, responds badly to being spammed. Most games you can beat the boss by running up on them and jump kicking... Over and over. You play like a pro player, you get punished. You play like a screaming newbie and it plays Easy on you even with the difficulty maxed.

I wouldn’t consider Devil Kazuya a win if you had to “cheat” to win, at least not the unintended way the developers had in mind.
You know what i love about the fight against Kazuya?
He literally requires powers that rival angels and demons...To beat a guy who has no powers and one hell of a hard skull that has been refined through copious amount of headbutting over the years. Who runs off pure determination, will power and never-say-die fighting attitude...And Kazuya barely won. Just barely. He needed all that to wear him down before the final strike.
