They should make a 3rd mix revival, i think everyone would agree that it has the best music selection so far : eurodance, techno and bits of beatmania.
Concept would be "Dance Dance Revolution X4 vs 3rd Mix I think DDR is in Upside Down world, in the 1st version were the discs, but then the time has been going forward and the discs were gone, and simplified to the song list with titles, I think the discs are cool and they shouldn't have removed them.

Basically have a decent list of songs available in the base game with purchasable DLC packs to add into the game, while if you want all the songs it would be a subscription + e-amusement pass (Taiko No Tatsujin Rhythm Festival on Switch does this, but doesn't require a pass). DDR Grand Prix on PC requires a subscription along with an e-amusement pass.

No, it's using the same camera engine as normal in-game X3 mode and often times the camera would show scenery or be zoomed out but since 2nd mix has bg clips instead of stages, the characters seem to appear smaller

I think they added an extra digit to score (compared to actual 2nd Mix) for that exact reason.
