@2:10 That's a heck of a lot cheaper than here in the U.S. Some of that first haul you put away was WAY less than 1/2 what it is here. WINE FOR $1 !!!!?????? STEAK $1.48 !!!!???? BUTTER 58 CENT !!!!????
It’s crazy because here in Argentina there’s definitely inflation that makes these groceries expensive for locals but affordable for me while at the same time, our country is going through inflation that makes groceries expensive for us too😅
@@PRINCESSCHRISTY I did some internet searching but haven't been able to really nail down an average wage number. I'm thinking the average pay is also really low in U.S. dollars value for the average worker? That combined with rising costs would put them in a rough situation for sure. Thanks for your reply and this video.
I thought yall were in hyperinflation and expected like $10 eggs. But here I am in America paying $6 for eggs and y’all’s is less than $2. Now I’m super confused. Maybe we are the ones with hyperinflation 😳 Thanks for sharing
The inflation here is contradicting because for the local Argentinians who get paid in Argentinian pesos everything is extremely expensive! For expats and Argentinians that get paid in US dollars the prices here are really good. This is because the official exchange rate (the red rate) is half of the black market exchange rate (the blue rate) when you exchange US dollars (only $100 bills) or Euros. A lot of people on Florida st here in Buenos Aires and also the Western Unions out here give the blue exchange rate
When steak is the price of lemons.....why are you buying all those veggies? you can live just off steak....look up lion diet....your health will improve and you will save money.
@PRINCESSCHRISTY Thank you for this video, I'm an American as well currently in the Philippines but to live comfortably and enjoy a high quality food isn't attainable. I'll have Buenos Aires as one of the places to consider..
@@PRINCESSCHRISTY I'm coming in January to spend 3 months. With prices like that I might turn around and book another flight so I can live like royalty while it last.

How about pricing in restaurants?
Happy Sunday friend great question! I’m doing an Argentina food vlog on Wednesday eating at restaurants and will include the price!
Prices now are double or triple that 😅 Greetings from Buenos Aires ❤
Did you do the blue rate exchange there to get those prices? :)
Yes I did the blue rate exchange at western union!

You couldn't mind making the prices go off screen a bit faster could you
I appreciate you tuning in I don’t mind I’ll be sure to adjust that next time!
Hey boo👋
Happy Sunday 🤎
How is the rent there?
Rent is $300 and up, the place I’m renting cost $550 a month!!
So ....the prices of food there is insanely cheap
Super cheap with USD so great for foreigners but terrible otherwise so it sucks for the locals unless they get paid in USD 🥺
You still here ? Let’s link up
I just left 2 days ago I miss it already 🥲

That whole bag of oranges was only 58 cents?
Right only 58 cent! After seeing prices like this it’s hard to go back to paying 8x the price in USA 😅
