Back in highschool in the early 2000s this game was small enough that it would fit in the server storage we were all allocated on the school servers so anytime we had a free period with computers everyone would play it. I can remember that opening theme pitch perfect in my brain to this day.

I really think this game and TF are much better than the snes ports of Capcom and Snk fgs. Because those games were adaptations - and generally poor ones in gameplay performance. But those two snes exclusives, mainly GW, were high effort games meant for the snes. Also those were early 90s Cap-Snk fgs, with the natural basic gameplay of the time. Capcom never got to release in the snes any Marvel or DS, with that revolutionary gameplay. The most advanced Capcom fg in the snes was A2, and still its a game with basic supers and no dashes for example. But GW pushed the snes system to bring a close experience to a Marvel game. Dashes, marvel like super jumps, chain combos, otg, big hitting moves, flashy supers, etc. And besides, no compromise to graphics, audio and gameplay performance. Then SFA2 on snes has some crazy slowdown and freezing... and even SF2, a simpler game, has worse music (than the arcade) and stops music on k.o. So the GW devs actually humiliated the makers of the SF ports.

Gundam Wing endless duel is a hidden gem on the SNES and one of the most underrated fighting games out there
Please need help, was mashing buttons and I transformed into plane hit him 3 times he died how I do that
Dunno how we went from an awesome snes game to all those really bad battle assault games on the ps1😢
Legit Gundam Wing had some of the best mobile suit designs, still iconic to this day.
One of my favorite fighting games is Gundam Battle Assault 2, and I've never heard of this! I'll definitely have to check it out. It looks way faster.
Thank you for the flash warning at the beginning. I never watched gundam but I wanna get into it
Played this way back in the day. Truly a forgotten gem. I would say Techromancer on the Dreamcast was a modern day follow up.
@Justin Wong. Try out the Gundam Battle Assault 1 and 2 on the PS1. You will love these games if you loved Wing Gundam Endless Duell
I want to see these bots fight like this in a movie or anime. Just the pressure from their propulsion would decimate anything behind them.
The second game I ever emulated. (First was Rockman Forte) A fantastic Japan-only title that had me hooked from the opening screen. All the Gundams are so undeniably cool and the "weight" of the mechs clashing feels just right. Tallgeese is personally my favorite and I love his playstyle. (Basically T. Hawk with more options)

this game was on a computer at my high school. i never remembered the name so thank you for finding this hidden gem
I heard this and the Power Ranger Fighting game were made by the same team. They seem really competent developers, did they continue developing fighting games?
9:12 According to google he says "Even Olays carry out their missions."
One of the favorite game in my childhood, I am glad it got attentions it deserved.
We need more Gundam games in the US. Heck we need a new Dynasty Warriors Gundam game too.
Gundam Battle Assault: *reads title* "Am I a joke to you?"
Please try Yuyu Hakusho Final on snes, combo game is Godlike Justin
