Photography Trip 14 Shooting Sun Flowers in Colorado on a 4x5 Large Format Camera on B/W film.

Join me as I shoot some Sun Flowers on the side of the road in Colorado. Some people call them Black Eye Susie but I call them Sun Flowers. I am using my 4x5 large format camera shooting Ilford Delta B/W 100 iso film. Developing the film in D-76 mixed 1-2. I am shooting a fast shutter speed and a low F stop with a short DOF. My exposure is 125th at F 11. I went out to the same spot three times at different times of the day. I under exposure the shot and over developed the film to get a higher contrast photograph.

I'm enjoying your videos, Brad. It looks like the wind was making it difficult to get a sharp photo. My favorite was the wide shot with the whole patch of sunflowers. I'll be traveling to Colorado in a couple of weeks for photography.

Thanks!! I sat there for awhile until the wind would stop blowing as much and shoot the shot, but then the mosquitoes would come and bite me. I shot fast on the night one. Thanks! Brad
