Photography Trip 10 Photographing moving water on 4x5 Black and White film. Shooting waterfalls.

  • Come with me as I photograph a little waterfall with my 4x5 large format camera. I am at Zapata Falls in Colorado near Great Sand Dunes N.P. on this video. I used a f stop of f32 and a long shutter speed of 1 to 10 seconds. The longer the shutter speed the more the water will look like a vail and soften the water. Next video I will be photographing a stream in the mountains.

      Thanks!! I had help luging everything up the one mile trail this time. I try not to go too far from my car, but that doesn't always work for the shot.

      I do sometimes in low lighting. I also use my 35mm digital camera for finding the exposure sometimes. Thanks!!
